If you’re a fan of Junji Ito and Lovecraft, then buying this is a no-brainer, though be prepared for a difficult ride. This copy comes with all the goodies from Fangamer too, and the art cards are a treat to look at. If you’re on the fence about this, I’d recommend grabbing it before you can’t.

10/10 would definitely recommend. The game is a love letter to Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft in a rogue-like, RPG. Battle eldritch horrors, hideous monsters, and your own dwindling sanity set against the backdrop of an 80’s Japan. I’ve only won once, I’ve died, lost my mind, or had the world devoured more times than I can remember and it’s totally worth it. It’s like the Unfair Platformer but as a cosmic horror game, more like an unfair RPG.
