We love our new Whirlpool Double Oven. What we love is the simplicity mixed with the modernity of this product. The knobs are sleek and simple to the turn; others we looked at were too bulky. We’ve mostly been using the top oven which makes the most sense for the cooking we do. I used the Keep Warm function for pizza last night and it kept it just right as opposed to simply having a bake option which would overdo the pizza and overheat the kitchen. We love the Stainless Steel look. A special shout-out goes to Dean Simone, the Best Buy associate who helped us greatly at the Christiana, DE location.

I was rather disappointed with this product. First issue was the display panel had to be replaced because when running the oven and cooking on multiple burners, the amount of heat deformed the display. The second is more of a bad design, there is only one broiling burner and it’s in the small oven. The broiler broils very un evenly. If I could do it all over again, I would not buy this product.

We had our eyes on a Hotpoint Double range but after noticing that the “black” surfaces are actually Gray (as compared to the same oven in a single door format, see Pic)…we changed our minds and went with this Whirlpool Convection Double. Glad we did! This thing is well built and HEAVY! Get a friend to help you with it. Install went well and It’s a keeper!
I have to say I had the greatest experience with BestBuy…Their staff was help full but not overbearing and they did match a competitor so I was able to meet my price-point. I bought it on Monday, it was ready a day early and It was wheeled out to my van Thursday after work. I am sold on BB.

Absolute worse oven we have purchased. Oven temperature rises to above 500 degress when it is set to 350. Had it repaired 3 times through GeekSquad so far and
I am returning it to buy an LG oven like the one in my other house that has worked flawlessly for 8 years,

Great stove so far. I’m glad we made the switch from electric to gas. So much faster and more control due to the ability to make changes in temperature immediately. One of the best features of this stove is the two piece iron grates that hinge on the left and right for easy cleaning. I love the fact that this stove was built less than two miles from where I live. If I could change anything, I would use a lower sheen paint around the eyes so that streaks are not left after cleaning.

The easy to lift grills are nice being ablebtonjust pivot them up without remiving them completely. Others are so heavy, and this one pivots up kinda like a hinge.

Purchased this unit back in May. Wasn’t able to go view in person, so had to rely on reviews/product descriptions. It seemed to be a decent model and I liked the style of the grates that flip up for ease of cleaning.
Downside is the BTU output is not nearly as strong as I was hoping. The front left-side burner is adequate. The front right takes much longer to bring an 8qt pot of water to a rolling boil. Forget about the back burners.
Speaking of back burners, you should avoid using any pot taller than 5” on the back because the control panel is a plastic front … it’s wild to me that they would design this with a material that is *not* heat proof. Apparently if it gets exposed to too much heat (like if you’re to simmer something for a prolonged period of time) it will warp and bubble. Luckily we were able to get it repaired through the very limited 1yr warranty.
I would not recommend this to future buyers unless they will do little to no cooking.

Replaced 15 year old stove. Excellent quality. Saves gas because heating a smaller oven area than a large single oven compartment when cooking. Really pleased with the product. After order found it for sale elsewhere for $100 less. Best Buy matched the sale price with no problem.

My wife and I are enjoying our new Whirlpool oven and range (mostly my wife who is the chef!) The double oven is perfect for preparing multiple items simultaneously at different temperatures. The E-Z Lift hinged grates are genius — just like wheels on luggage. (Why didn’t they think of that sooner!) There is so much more to say, but having five burners provides tremendous flexibility. Delivery and installation were courteous, professional and on time. Keep up the great work!

The double oven feature is very useful. It has a broil option that allows you to use the top burner in the small oven which is great for browning cheese. The small oven is perfect for pizzas. The large burner puts off plenty of heat, I used it with a large water bath canner with no problem.

is a great oven/range! My husband does a lot of cooking and baking and he’s commented each time how much he enjoys using this appliance. Having dual ovens is great, something we did not even realize we needed. The gas range cooks evenly, husband is happy with that too. Easy to use control panel. Our prior oven/range was not even that old, but this is definitely superior. So far, we are very pleased and would recommend this double oven gas range.

Beware when purchasing this range if you are planning to convert it from natural gas to propane. Whirlpool shows the broiler burner requiring a female fitting to convert to Propane. The included kit included the wrong part, the directions show the wrong part even the Whirlpool parts department showed the wrong part. It took several hours of my time to figure out Whirlpools error. Best Buy was of no help in trying to rectify this issue. Suggested I go to Home Depot for help resolving the issue.
