    the was range was ok, but this was second one I got that had a dent in it at delivery. Maybe something is wrong with brand or they were delivered like that to your store from whirpool.

    We love our new gas range. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. The cook top is easy to clean and the grates are a big improvement over our last range. We also love the large front glass window on this model. The five burner arrangement is nice. The front burners are very powerful which makes it easy to boil water, but you might want to move your pot to the back burners when simmering. The griddle is a nice bonus, but we haven’t tried it yet. If I had any complaint it would be that the racks are a little flimsier than our old range. It doesn’t instill confidence when placing or removing a heavy dutch oven, but it does seem to hold it.

    A good quality item, however the oven is not deep at all. We were surprised since the total dimensions are very typical, it must be bulky internal parts taking away from cooking space inside. The racks are also very flimsy, so heavy big dishes or a thanksgiving turkey is a no go! The range top however is perfect with no complaints. Just something to consider and depends on everyone’s needs.

    It was exactly what I was looking for and even came with a griddle that lays and secures itself to the burner grates.
    It has a nice 5th burner in the center as well, and the grates for the burners are flush with each other so if you need to move a huge pot there’s no heavy lifting just simply slide it to a cool zone on the grates.
    The salesman was very helpful and the gentlemen that delivered and installed were very professional and personable.

    Gas igniters work quick and grate over-the-whole-top-of-the-stove allows for moving pots and pans easily. The fifth burner in the middle is nice. The oven is large. The only thing I don’t like is the broiler at the very bottom, and it has no drawer pull out or way to see what you have in there.

    This was a first Whirlpool range for us (it’s always been GE). I selected it because of the very large window into the oven. It looks great in our new kitchen, and I love the extra burner. Less to love is the broiler down below – but broiler options aren’t always great in gas ranges.

    The real reason for the loss of a star in what otherwise is a very good range (bakes beautifully!) is that the temperature settings are done by up/down arrow rather than being able to enter an actual number. It makes for a very clean display area (so few buttons), but it you want to bake/roast much out of the 350 range you are in for a lot of clicks! Also, sadly, the clock is set in the same way which makes it a real pain to change the time.

    But, for what I purchased it to do (cooking and baking) it does a very nice job, and the window is great!

    Love the 5th burner! The only negative I can say is there are only 2 large grates on top and they are somewhat cumbersome. The style is great. The size is standard. The viewing window is perfect.

    I think the material around the stove is cheap made it gets extremely hot . To touch the front and around the stove itself. Not sure if this is normal or not . I am guessing to call customer service for my question.

    I purchased this stove as an open box it was marked as excellent condition. I drove 53 miles to go get it. It had a dent in it pieces were missing then when we connected the gas we found out the electrical part of the stove didn’t work it took 15 days to get a return and replacement. Worst experience of my life.
