  1. Scar

A nice collection for anyone that has a nostalgic connection with classic Ninja Turtles games. Lots of neat goodies but it was certainly overpriced though. I’m surprised a little mini arcade wasn’t included, would have been a fitting addition. The box art on this is probably the best part of it, looks great. Mini art book included was nice but it is very light on commentary (almost none). As for the games, it is a great collection and I really like the extras they put into it like visual player’s guides. It feels like the ultimate virtual museum. You can even watch complete play throughs of every game. There are nice built in cheats to make completing some of the games tolerable such as the old arcade games. That said, I’d only recommend this special edition for the most hardcore 80s/90s turtle fans.

  2. buddha5255

Great Collection of Games and collectibles. Brought me back to my childhood.

  3. RandomConsumer

This is a bit over priced but like the box is gorgeous. I almost ducked on this release because of the price but its still beautiful. For the price it could of came with a steelbook or something

  4. KK1381

Awesome collection. Nice extras but not great. A bit overpriced for what you get.

  5. Mvlee85

Great collectors edition set big fan of ninja turtles and highly recommend this edition

  6. Gilbrod

As a collector, I could not pass this up. It has all the games I remember collecting cans and bottles in NYC garbage, so I can get those nickels that added into quarters and dollars to play. The NES game is still a pain. But thanks to saves, I will be able to conquer it once and for all.

  7. KingDB

The game itself is worthy of 10/5 stars. This collection is truly incredible. I never thought I’d be able to own some of these childhood staples again, let alone all on the same cartridge! The special features include tons of material, and even screenshots of every episode from every TV iteration of the TMNT. You can relive each series without even having to watch a single episode. Pretty nifty addition, imo.

There are some in-game features as well, like “god mode” adjustments and the ability to rewind the game when you make a mistake. There is also an online option but only for select games. Not having the Sega Genesis version of TMNT Tournament Fighters was very disappointing since that’s the version I grew up with, but also understandable since it’s the epitome of button-mashing without much skill. It is questionable why they wouldn’t put a Desperation Moves list in that game, though, since those moves aren’t in the original instruction manual.

OK, now the real reason we’re all here: The Limited Edition! The box was actually much smaller than I was expecting, but the art is as pictured. There’s a slipcover of the art over the box of the same art. Inside, there are some relatively overpriced goodies, but I can see how they’d add up to the purchase price if you found them separately in stores. It’s just a shame you don’t get the feeling that you got a significant value with this purchase, just that you were forced to buy everything inside.

That being said, they’re all nice items. I love the designs they chose for the pins, and the acrylic diorama looks great in person after setting it up. But the meat was the art book. The content is phenomenal, and there’s actually not a ton of overlap with the in-game bonuses, at least not on my initial inspection of a few games. It does feel a bit unnecessary after you see the in-game content, but I love having a physical copy with all this material.

However, there is NO excuse, especially at this price point, for this to not be a hardback book. My Fire Emblem Fates artbook was a hardcover and it’s significantly smaller in every dimension. So they can’t say it was the size that stopped them. I hate feeling like I’m ruining or impairing the spine/stiffness of the book just to look at it. Huge oversight and/or intentionally greedy cost-cutting move to not make the book a hardcover.

But overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase, and even more so with the product’s existence. Collections should all strive to be like this!

  8. Phorrest

One of the best retro collections ever made. Definitely worth the money.

  9. mooch

Awesome collection for a turtle fan! A must have!

  10. Keldon

Keep in mind that I may be biased as I’m typing this in a room full of 90s collectables, but if you’re into 90s gaming just go ahead and buy it! This is the ultimate collection of all thing TMNT gaming and the company that was put in charge of remastering the games for the modern era did a fantastic job.

It has some nice quality of life enhancements such as the ability to save your game at any time and a rewind button so you can redo getting your booty kicked (limited to a few seconds, but it works).

The LE edition of the game comes with some sweet collectables as well. Stop reading this and buy it!

  11. Loch

Love it turtle power so amazing! The arcade game is rad!

  12. RichardO

Definitely a must have if you’re into collecting. I love all the games.. but kinda got bored the second that I was able to get infinite lives.. now that I know how to pull that off I just boxed it back up. But it’s something definitely to play with friends.

  21. 12345

The game is amazing. But the edition is not worth 150.

  22. FerAmerica

Cowabunga this game rules. Perfect edition to Shredder’s Revenge.

  23. girth305

A nice trip down memory road. Not sure if its worth the cost unless you really love these old games.

  26. Quantum

I was very excited to hear about this collection of classic TMNT games from ages ago. Most games are enjoyable, some haven’t aged well. The ones I enjoy most are the arcade games where you can play with multiple players.

  40. Odynom9

Great collection! Glad that Konami showed the Turtles franchise some respect and put together a meaningful collection of games here. Plus lots of goodies for a Turtle fan to enjoy.

  41. JimF

A fantastic collection of games with plenty of extras that make a TMNT fan relive their childhood favorites! The care taken to get these variety of games all working on one cart with all content intact is astonishing. Throw in online support for some, but not all, of the games and you can play with friends near and far. I can’t say enough good things about this collection. If you’re a longtime TMNT fan, or a newer one, this collection has a lot to love.

  42. NathanB

A must have for any die hard TMNT fan. I grow up with all these games and this brings me right back to it. I spend several hours playing TMNT II on the NES. Still one of my all time favorite NES games. The added features are great and the Kevin Eastman TMNT in Time fabric poster and the box art are the icing on the cake.

  43. PlusUltra

Only bought since I’m a huge turtle fan but if you want to enjoy the games, just buy the standard version and save some money. Unless you want unnecessary extras.

  44. Zachary

The box condition was pretty poor for what I was looking for in a collectors edition

  45. MajorZer0

If you’re looking to going back and play some of the old TMNT games. Then this is for you! The collectors edition comes with Jam Pack of cool things for those TMNT die hard fans. This is definitely a pick up.

  46. JustinM

Great product best buy rules. The cashier was coutrious and very helpful. Will buy again

  47. SpikeVash

I purchase it at a great price and as a huge fan of the TMNT it was the best option
