Super Mario Bros. Wonder feels like a true successor to the “Super Mario World” game from the SNES era. This game combines all of the best gameplay elements from the past 2D Mario platformer games of the past into one amazing new version, with plenty of great nostalgic callbacks to the Mario games of the past. The levels all have a great level of creativity, fun new enemies, beautiful visuals, and of course the crazy world-bending Wonder flower effects. It’s a great pick-up-and-play type game, and can be hours of fun in single or multiplayer. A worthy Mario successor that truly looks great on the Switch.
