    havent played it, but ive heard its from the original harvest moon team, so it must be great!

    If you enjoy Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, you will probably like this. Didn’t know this was a re-release of a HM game personally, but it definitely felt like one. Very similar gameplay loop as in the previously mentioned games. Farm, play mini games, interact with townspeople, mine for ore…etc. If you are familiar with the genre, you probably know what to expect here. If you are a fan of the types of games, there is no reason you won’t love this one too.

    I have played quite a few Harvest Moon games over the years, and while this one was good, it was also the one I stopped playing the soonest.

    I usually play a Harvest Moon game through until my character has kids and/or I’ve 100% it. I got tired of playing this before the kids arrived and didn’t really feel like I missed much doing so.

    So good game, but not nearly the best Harvest Moon game.

    Let’s just say, I’m still playing since the day I bought it. It’s just a really relaxing game since it’s a remake of the original Gameboy Advance. Bring back memories.

    Fun game! I was always big on Harvest moon for the PlayStation 2 and now that I own a switch it’s even better.

    An OK Harvest Moon game that can be had at a decent price (20-30 bucks). Doesn’t seem to be as much to do as in more recent installments of the series. Also the publisher snuck same-sex marriages into the game so parents be warned! It’ll be my last purchase of this series as long as they choose to include that ridiculousness.

    Wife really likes it after she fell out of animal crossing she wanted something similar and I did some digging and found this one was pretty good so she bought it and she has been content with it.

    I never played a Harvest Moon game. Picked this up and loved it. My favourite part are the chickens. I like how you can go a bit more at your own pace vs stardew valley where I felt rushed

    It has all the charm of a late 90s Harvest Moon game with the quality of life improvements found in modern chore games like Stardew Valley.

    This isn’t my favorite harvest moon/story of seasons game. However, I do think it is worth a play through if you are looking for a new farming/social sim to play. I love this series overall.

    I love the Story of Seasons franchise, I find these games to be very relaxing and rewarding. If you never played a Story of Seasons title, you owe it to yourself to try it out.

    I used to play Harvest Moon 64 as a kid and this is similar enough that it will bring back all the good memories, but different enough that there’s still a lot to learn and new things to do in the game. I never played the original Friends of Mineral Town on the GBA, so I can’t make a comparison, but I’ve been having difficulties putting the game down since I started playing. It’s so stinking cute and it’s so relaxing to play. The daily activities in the game don’t feel like a chore (I felt like they were when playing Animal Crossing New Horizons) but they’re actually fun to do. The feature where you can actually see your relationships with the villagers and sprites improve is also a good incentive to actually give them gifts. The struggle of deciding between giving an item to a villager and selling it to make money is real. My brother used to love Harvest Moon 64 as well as a kid and I decided to buy another copy of the game and gift it to him.
