(Note, most of the reviews on here from Samsung.com are for the wrong Soundbar)
We realized that after we purchased but thankfully the HW-S801B/ZA soundbar is really awesome! For such an incredibly slim bar and small woofer it puts out some serious sound! Its not the best but for its size I think it might be for its class. Sure you can get better sound from bigger bulkier equipment but if you want a nice clean and minimal look this is it.

Experienced connection issues using the Wi-Fi option which is strange since this seems to be targeted for the Frame TV where you want to eliminate wires. Also the power cable is now long enough for that application as wheel.

We used this for a week or so and then returned it and replaced it with a Sonos Beam on the recommendation of a tech. Lots of glitches. It’s too bad because it’s a beauty and sounded terrific when it worked properly.

The sound is pretty good considering the size. The HUGE problem is this is hardwired to a Samsung OLED TV. The lip sync is RIDICULOUSLY BAD! Next step is contacting Samsung support since using this combination is like watching a poorly dubbed foreign language movie.

The best slim sound bar you can find. If you have little space to work with or you are a minimalist that want your room to look less cluster, get this. Sound quality will not be as good as some other full size soundbar but that’s not what this is designed for. This is the best slim application on the market as of 2023. You are buying a great looking soundbar with great sound (not the best sound, but great enough for us) This sound bar and subwoofer blend in our 75” tv setup and give us much better sound and bass than the tv speakers.

I upgraded my previous soundbar with this one and I can literally feel the bass when watching a movie or listening to music. The only downside is there’s no display on the bar, and I don’t care for it speaking which selection I make, I like having a display. But the sound quality trumps not having it!

Recommended for those who want a minimalist , slim, wall mounted setup. Good and fair sound for a small room and/or apartment. Has wireless/wifi capability without the use of hdmi e-arc or bluetooth. The con is the hdmi to micro hdmi cable, which is weak and easy to break.

Great sound and clear boom. I read that others had trouble with Bluetooth and maybe being it’s paired to a Samsung tv it helps but I never had it lose signal or disconnect. I watched a 3 hour movie first dive into this and no issues.

It very slim and good looking. Remote battery is rechargeable , which is great.
It doesn’t sync up with my Samsung Tizen TV for surround sound so thats a bummer.
