    I recently “upgraded” from the JBL Soundbar 9.1, a system which I LOVED!!!, to the JBL 1300X 11.1. To succinctly summarize, the audio quality of the more powerful 11.1 did not approach the caliber of the 9.1.

    After a discussion with JBL’s customer support team, we completed all the prescribed troubleshooting steps. The representatives requested a few days to consult with their internal team. Ultimately, their conclusion was that my unit might be defective, and they advised me to return it for a replacement.

    Upon their advice, I return the unit and got another JBL 11.1. Regrettably, upon installing the second unit, I faced similar issues related to the performance of the 12-inch woofer, particularly when compared to the superior bass output from the 8-inch woofer in the JBL 9.1 model. Consequently, I had to return the unit for the second time.

    Next, I bought the Sonos – Arc Soundbar, equipped with Dolby Atmos, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa, complemented by the Sonos – Sub (Gen 3) Wireless Subwoofer. While I anticipated significant improvement, surprisingly, this combination did not outperform the audio experience delivered by the JBL 9.1 within my room.

    Subsequently, I ventured to try the Sony – SA-SW5 300W Wireless Subwoofer, coupled with the Sony – HT-A7000 7.1.2 Channel Soundbar featuring Dolby Atmos. Regrettably, this setup also fell short of the exceptional audio quality that the JBL 9.1 had to offer.

    Now, let me turn to my evaluation of the Samsung Q990B. This system is absolutely outstanding! It shakes the entire house with amazing sound! The bass is profound yet sharp. The soundbar yields a vibrant sound, apt for both movies and music. It is undoubtedly the best soundbar on the market for its price, especially for larger rooms.

    left rear speaker cuts out. samsung acts like its not an issue and you are crazy. Geeksquad resets it and listens for 10 mins and tells you sorry for your luck unless we can duplicate we can do nothing for you. terrible customer service

    Bluetooth rear and sub do not connect unless they are in the mood. Leaves you listening to a soundbar ONLY and that is not the goal Samsung. What a waste of money.

    Upon reading other reviews it did say the wireless speakers tend to lag out here and there but that’s all based off your connection and Wi-Fi connection but this is some powerful sound

    If not for one major and persistent issue this soundbar would be perfect. The left rear speaker is continuously dropping connection/sound. It was on rare occasion at first, then became increasingly more frequent. After the manufacturers warranty expired it has been constant. When I would call Samsung support both before and after warranty expiration, the instructions were always a factory reset which never resolved the problem. I have performed multiple resets and ID syncs and power cycles without success. I scheduled a Geek Squad visit and hope this issue can be resolved. It’s so disappointing because otherwise this would be an excellent device.

    Incredible sound quality!! I read many positive reviews however was still skeptical in regards to the Dolby Atmos… Samsung nailed it!! We absolutely love feeling like we’re submerged into the movie and literally feel like we’re at the movies at home!!

    This is definitely a nice buy. My setup is all Samsung. I’m running the QSymphony. I’m hearing things I didn’t hear on my old system. The only issue is the bass when it comes to moves and low volume. This system needs the 10″ woofer for sure. The 8″ is ok when the movie calls for bass, but could definitely be better. The volume is crazy insane. I took it to 25. That’s all my ears could take.
    Samsung next generation 10″ sub please. Also more adjustment controls on the App.

    Super easy to set up With my Samsung tv. This home theater in a box sounds awesome! Really feels like there are more speakers around the room. I bought the Q990B model, which is the 2022-2023 model but has similar features as the newer Q990C. The Samsung setup is also less expensive than the equivalent 4 piece you’d have to assemble from Sonos.

    Although the first one came in DOA….Best Buy handled the replacement quickly. I switched to this system after having a full Definitive Technology Tower speakers w/ 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup up and this is very close.

    This is the king of the sound bars in 2022. It has excellent sound from all speakers and the subwoofer will blow you away.

    Better that the sound, is Samsung’s customer service. My house was struck with a power surge damaging thousands of dollars in electrics and appliances. Samsung took it back and replaced the power board and even replaced the front screen as it was dented.

    When it works it is great but I’ve been increasingly frustrated with poor connection to the subwoofer, which is not far and in direct line of sight. If it’s a product QA issue I will update but that’s still not great.

    Coming from a 10+ year old Bose Acustamass 10 system (Wired with an external amplifier), I’m very impressed with how far wireless tech has come along. from the rear channels to the subwoofer. I have a Q series Samsung TV and it seamlessly connects to my TV and works with Qsymphony to use the TV speakers as part of the system output. It fills my large great room without any issue.

    Having this wireless is a big plus if you don’t have the ability to have a cinema system, and it sounds great.

    It was a good Soundbar until it got defective after a 10 months. Every time i turned on the Soundbar, volume automatically increases 100%. Samsung was good enough to send support and when they unable to fix because of parts, they asked me to return for an exchange or refund
