Case was great; provided good protection and fit nicely. SPen holder was the issue. Pen constantly fell out at the slightest touch or bump. I was too paranoid I’d lose it to enjoy it, which was unfortunate because I loved how slim the case was while still having a pen. Returned it.

Brilliant phone! Most likely won’t go back to the Apple eco-system again. The Fold 5 is a number of generations ahead of the iphone in innovation: much better productivity features, thermal management, multi-tasking, screen clarity, power sharing, smart view/screen share, smart things integration with all house hold Samsung TV and appliances (which is a huge differentiator to Apple), video calls from Google on TV, the list goes on! I consider Google assistant to be more superior to Siri. Everything I have is Google and Samsung centric, it’s not hard to appreciate the amazing utility that comes with switching to Android and Samsung phones. The better camera, more vivid pictures, and motion detection, and of course…. the folding screen is a cherry on top!

Coming from the now (pretty much) unsupported Surface Duo 2 this phone has reinvigorated my love of foldable devices. Samsung’s UI and Settings are just fantastic. Really nice case. One of the few for a fold 5 that actually had the S-pen with it. The only thing missing is the built in stand, like I had on my fold 4.

My biggest grip with silicone cases is that they show fingerprints BAD. This one is no different.
With the bad out of the way, it’s not a terrible case. It’s slim, a built in S Pen toothpick, and it fits nice.
Did I mention that it shows every single fingerprint? And the tape? There is tape all over this thing.. that front cover isn’t moving a bit. I ordered the leather case, so when it arrives I will probably take this one back. While the Leather does not include a place for that little S Pen toothpick, it won’t show fingerprints near as bad.

The case and pen fit nicely on the Fold 5. However, i prefer more protection, that would include the hinge. So I kept this case as a spare and purchased a different case that holds the S Pen that comes with the Samsung case. I use the S pen with that case. If i was at a desk all day and not in the field, i would probably use this case from Samsung because it is thin, comfortable, and holds the pen well. There is no issue, as some have posted, with the S Pen staying in or removing it, as long as you put it on correctly, which is with the pen facing down (tip facing down toward the charging port). Just remember that these z fold cases come with a 3m like sticker inside around the frame to help hold the 2 pieces in place, so removing them does weaken the tape and removing and changing cases is not as practicle as a standard flat phone. The S pen is not worth paying the price Samsung asks without just paying a few bucks extra or catching it on sale with the case pen combo.

I bought this case because it came with the spot to put the s-pen. Was plesently supprised to gind an s-pen in that slot when i opened the box! Case looks nice on the phone and it is pretty tough! I drop my phone quite often and havent had any serious injuries to the phone yet!

I love the case, but my issue is that the sticky tabs within the case (that keep it stuck to your phone and protected) became worn after a few months. One part of the case has fallen off somewhere, and now I either find it and replace the sticker tabs myself, or I buy another case. Kinda impractical when other cases can be used for years with no maintenance requires and this expensive case falls apart.

I’ve owned this case since the fold was released and it is still holding up well. I have had no issues with the pen falling out-you just need to make sure tou position it well in the slot-you have to push it down securely into the crevice and it stays put. It also charges with no issues wirelessly.

I was reluctant to buy a first party case due to the price-I’m generally a $20-30 case purchaser. I really like the feel and that it comes with the stylus. Not some thing I use much, but handy to have. The case is much more secure that the 3rd party cases I’ve had for the fold. Only down fall is that my mage safe rings no longer fit the back of this case

The case itself is fairly decent, it’s quite slim and does a good gob at limiting the general slipperyness of the phone. The case levels out the camera with the rest of the phone, but the spen slot itself still pertrudes. And the added weight to the back does not weigh down the phone if you decidw to bend it in such a way that it props itself up.

Wanted to use my fold 4 leather case but wouldnt fit. Liked the idea of a small stylus. Good fit, finish and user experience. However, Samsung made the case thicker. Unlile my leather case, i cannot use my magnetic car mount. The magnet is not strong enough to penetrate through the back. I had to either stick a plate to the outside of the case or use a different mount.

This is a nice looking sleek case. We have 2 how ever my spouse has had to replace his 3 times in less than 6 months. It could be the product or it could be him. I know the Best Best warranty now SUCKS so bad as the 1st case purchased came apart less than 30 days and the Samsung warranty even worse. Since BB only gives you 14 days to return we then sent case for replacement with Samsung …it got lost and they said they can not replace without receiving defective one THEY lost. So pardon the rant butwe have spent over 300.00 inc tax in cases for a 2000.00 phone. Oh well gotta protect the investment. On the other hand my case is doing just fine and it is 4 months old. I guess you can decide.
