I just bought this 85in TV during Thanksgiving in 2023. Colors are amazing, interface is super friendly, thin modern appearance. We mounted it on the wall and it took 3 adults to install it. Sound is great as well, although a separate sound bar will abosultely make it sound better. Xbox game pass works smoothly with my Xbox One controller. I would 100% recommend this TV! So worth its value, and even more with the Thanksgiving deals on it ($2500 USD).

This tv turned my family room into a theater. The 85 inch screen size is large, but can a tv ever be too large? The upgraded 8k picture is incredible, and the sound is really great. After a month of use I am still amazed every time I watch this tv. I originally was looking at OLED, but after reading professional reviews discovered QLED is better suited for rooms with lots of natural sunlight. This tv is BRIGHT!

The tv I’ve been waiting for, the Samsung QN800 Neo QLED 8K 85″ Television. Mounted flat against the wall and looks great!! Installation was straight forward and had it done in about 45 minutes. The big reason I liked this model was because of the one connect system which uses one cable to the monitor (screen) and the main unit is down on the shelf unit make a clean and neat installation. Because of the cosr I actually opted for the Geek Squad warranty (hope I never need it)

So far, so good! The television has a great picture, low profile and is easy to navigate. There’s been a few glitches with synching it to our Sonos system, but I think that has more to do with Sonos than than the TV.

Tv was sent with the manufacturing defect. Spot appeared on day one and have been dealing with the best buy customer service. Defective tv was sent and called bestbuy to to an exchange and spent 4 days almost 30+ hours on hold or waiting which includes a store trip to get the exchange. Since tv was out of stock at my address but was available to deliver at different bestbuy store 60 miles away so the only solution was to take the 85 inch 140 pounds tv to that store and have the exchange done. Which will cost me approx $300-$$500 to rent uhaul take the tv there bring the tv back. This is probablly the wotst customer service i have dealt with. After this i will try my best to stay away from best buy as much as possible and cancel mg plus membership.

This is the best tv on the market in my opinion. 120 Hrtz, 8k resolution, media and games are still trying to catch up to the capability that this tv offers. 4 HDMI 2.1 Ports, yes 4, so every single connection to this tv does 4K 120 FPS, or 8K 60 FPS. And because the tv upscales everything to 8k, im playing Call of Duty in 8K at 120 FPS, There isnt a computer and PC monitor on earth capable of running 8k at 120FPS.

This TV truly has the best picture I have ever had on any television. The pics do not do the TV justice. Some shows from the 50s and 60s (ME TV) can be a little grainy but is not much different than how they appeared on my 4k 75” set. I realize there is not 8K content (except YouTube) but when standing directly in front of the TV can barely distinguish a pixel on the screen. The sale price for this 8K 85” TV was excellent and the Best Buy team that delivered and wall mounted the set did an excellent job.
I was concerned whether, as a 2022 model (800B) was brand new or may have been sitting around in a warehouse for a year and asked numerous times to confirm this set was brand new and in a box. When delivered the set was new in a sealed box and when checking the serial number, it appears to have been manufactured in Mexico in October 2023. I was surprised Samsung is still manufactoring 2022 sets in 2023. I thought the solar remote might be a gimmick but after 2 months of use and leaving the remote face down with the solar back exposed the remote is still at 100% charge.
I have the TV HDMI connected to my 5.1 Yamaha receiver with Bose speakers, and the sound is great. The receiver is my HDMI hub and connects to my TIVO (cable box) and Apple TV. I’m currently only using one HDMI port and the optical connection on the Samsung One Connect Box. I’m very pleased with the purchase and installation and would highly recommend both Samsung and the Best Buy installation.

5/5 would recommend. Got it Black Friday for $2500 when it was originally $8k when it first came out. Had a couple issues initially but Best Buy customer service/ Geek Squad fixed them. It took 5 weeks and 3 deliveries but were thoroughly happy with the end result.

I have been viewing this tv for a while now. I must say it was well worth the price. The 8K picture up convert is excellent especially with 4K blu ray disc. Streaming is also gorgeous on this display! If you can afford this tv, please pick you up one; you will not be disappointed.

This has turned out to be a really nice upgrade from the 4 year old 75” Samsung that I had previously. I like that the connection ports are not located on the back of the TV . It makes connecting wired things to it so much easier. I have this hung on the wall in a very sunny , bright room and the picture looks great – even in full sun. The sound is meh, but that’s what a sound bar is for !
