    Polk Signs S3 is a great product — setup is effortless, sound is fabulous
    BUT I thought I was upgrading my JBL SB200 when I bought Polk’s S3 for its built-in Chromecast but I wasn’t! What I didn’t guess was that Polk’s Chromecast isn’t REAL Chromecast — it won’t cast video from YouTube, from Amazon Prime, from Netflix, from Britbox, from Hulu, from Magellan, from SlingTV, from ANYTHING!

    This sound bar combined with my Sony 65 inch TV is a marriage made in heaven. I choose Polk for their musical attributes and it sure does deliver. Overall sound is A plus. If you are searching for a sound bar at a reasonable price, look no further.

    The sound quality is excellent. The only thing that annoys me is that it has a time-out feature so you have to occasionally turn it back on. Otherwise it is excellent.

    This is a good sound bar for the price. The options for voice enhancements is very good. The sound bar does encounter disconnects which requires reset sometimes. overall another good speaker set from Polk

    The device produces good sound for a soundbar. The lack of DTS VirtualX and Dolby Atmos isn’t a big deal as those systems sound better with more speakers.

    The one problem I have is that the device doesn’t always switch sound output as you shuffle through different inputs. Switching between my Xbox and Chromecast the device will not play the sound of the current input, even though the device is plugged in the eARC. It’s not a deal breaker, but it is an annoyance.

    The various modes for specialized hearing needs puts this over the top, from night time to dialogue boost Polk scores all 10s.

    Loved my Polk S2 for the basement tv that I bought this one for my living room upstairs. Literally the day after the return window closed get constant static and can’t even listen to the tv. Haven’t even had it a month and now will have to purchase a new one. Very disappointed.

    It sounds good when it works. Unfortunately, the bass cuts out fairly often and the only way to gwt the bass back is to turn it off and turn it back on. Rather annoying as it happens at least once a day. I have had it happen 3 times in 2 hours one night. One other annoying thing is that it doesn’t always turn on when you turn the tv on as it should, so you have to pull the dedicated remote out to turn the power on.

    Do not buy. 2x defective. Replaced the first speaker & subwoofer because the subwoofer was constantly cutting in and out. Assumed it was a one-time bug. Ordered a new one (under warranty) and quickly began having the same exact issue. These speakers do not work, don’t waste your time or money.

    Room filling sound! Great bass (if the woofer is positioned correctly in the corner, as recommended!)! Easy to setup and easy to use!!! Im giving 4 out if 5 stars because for $300, the sound could be more impressive! But overall good deal!

    I purchased this soundbar and subwoofer to add to my 70″ TV after looking online and instore at a lot of soundbars. It connected to my TV almost effortlessly and sounds great. I also like that you can adjust the level of the voices in a movie to hear the dialogue that is going on easier. It also sounds pretty good when I want to listen to my music using bluetooth connection. I would recommend this setup to anyone wanting good sound at a decent price without breaking the bank.
