    Expensive but needed for a Jeep. Cheap aftermarket’s don’t work. Downside of Jeep aftermarket world. Stupid Canbus

    I can’t review it because I don’t even know if it was installed the ploy and I do not get along very well and he basically said this only take two minutes in exactly that I went inside and he said OK I’m done. I don’t even know how long it takes to put this in, but I can’t tell you.

    With radio purchase needed to upgrade wiring harness for new radio worked out perfectly for a reasonable price get everything I needed to do

    The only thing this altered was the continued use of the steering wheel volume and track skip paddles and the Voice Activation button. The internal microphone and most of the call answer/end/control buttons on the steering wheel do not.

    The northside spokane best buy. My best friend bought an expensive Alpine deck from this store and they installed it using this harness. The only thing it really does is retain steering wheel function and the installer didnt know what the heck he was doing obviously. My friend paid to have an entire system put in his ram 2500 and the installer couldnt figure out how to get the subs to work and that was only the beginning. The alpine deck has many amazing features (halo ilx-f509) like communication with the obd2 and nav and programable buttons and climate integration and so on and so on. Which is why its a 1500 deck. The installer chose to use the worst wire harness because the only features that worked were the steering wheel controls and on top of that he didnt even adjust the gain on the harness so his highs constantly made a popping noise if you tried to turn up the volume very loud at all(brand new speakers as well). To say the least he is highly disappointed.

    I’m glad I had an employee of Best Buy at the time of my purchase for a new radio for my Jeep wrangler. I am and not electronic savvy, I knew what radio I wanted and the features I was looking for, just didn’t know or aware that extra components were needed for complete functionality and installation. I knew I needed this part because it’s easy and I’m used to using my controls on back of my steering wheel. I’m glad it was told to me I needed this part to still be able to use them. So far no issues and I love my purchase.

    Bought this to pair with a Kenwood screen in a 2012 Ram. everything went together great. Instructions were easy to follow. Still able to use steering wheel control.

    Disappointed this harness cost 150.00. And doesn’t include operation of rear speakers. Only front still not sure why expecting full control of front and rear balance but when I use the rear speaker it is very faint to no sound at all. If I need another harness I would of liked to know. Was there 2 times. Already.

    Only 1 wire harness for this car. Does not matter what trim package you have you still have to buy this harness with steering wheel controls that are not used. Pretty sure that is whatvdrive the price up.
