I do my research on these type of purchases and wanted my next sound system to perform and to last me awhile. Well worth the money spent vs crappy 2 channel soundbars you spend alot for and more affordable than the billion dollar corporations systems. Set up was easy and the provides movie quality sound. Watching football has been taken to another level. I did have a tiny delay but when I called Nakamichi, they walked me through fixing it very easily within minutes. Great bass & surround sound. Plus ATMOS for an awesome picture and sound quality at a great price.

I finally got a great deal directly from Nakamichi , bought it and in a few days received it. This sound bar is worth every penny invested in it. The set up is very easy to do . It brings all the connections included. Once all was hooked up , I turn it on with a Movie called Black Hawk Down it had won academy awarwd for sound , WOW the sound is so incredible around the living room . Sound is so life like that you think your live there in the movie, bullets flying , explosions, helicopters flying around its so real and crisp and loud. The remote is very easy to use and alm instructions are pretty clear to understand . The two subwoofers make a big difference on low base sound. I also plaid some music from my phone on bluetooth and music is pretty good also not as good as old school speakers but it does it’s job. After all this said I highly recommend this unit Nakamichi 7.2.4 elite sse model. Thank you for your time reading , hope it helps a bit.

We absolutely love this soundbar. Looking for an experience to rival the movie theater… We found Nakamichi and are totally satisfied. Right now, by daughter and friends are dancing and singing to music played by the Nakamichi. I’m over 100ft away on the other side of the house, but still feel the base.

I searched many systems before getting this one. I am super pleased. It brings true to theater sound to my family room. The bass is amazing. Found I like to listen to music via Bluetooth on this system. My wife was glad to get rid of wires running across the floor (there are wires from sub to remote speakers but that’s a short distance). Bought this for myself for a birthday present….love it

Sound bar works great. One subwoofer works great probably 80% of the time, the other subwoofer works alright about 20% of the time. Mainly just use the sound bar as the subwoofer “crackle” gets annoying and distracting. Too late to return so will have to take advantage of my protection plan. .

I bought the Shockwafe 7.2.4 to replace my Onkyo system lost in a natural disaster. I actually had my eye on the 9.2.4, but found that I’d be just as well off with the 7.2.4 system. Setup was easier than I had thought with my LG 4K TV, and my Sony BluRay. The company provides first class instructions both with the product and online how to obtain the best results from the myriad of settings available. The sound is outstanding, not only from the point of view of ear-shattering volume, but overall quality as well. Obviously, there is a learning curve with a system this complex, mostly with a very sophisticated remote, but it is a fun experience, and the end result – watching my favorite movies on disc – has been more than worth it. I’m a satisfied customer. I haven’t had a reason yet to contact tech support, but I’m confident that, if I do need to, I should be OK. Any company that can build something this good, with these results will no doubt take care of its customers!

Honestly an amazing system. I’ve had it set up now for a few months and the Dolby Atmos is amazing. I’ve got another set up in my basement and this system crushes it and was less money. Set up was super easy and although I wish the remote was smaller and had less options once you learn it, it really is easy to change between the set ups you want for different viewing/listening options. Top Gun Maverick sounds amazing by the way… 😉

I put this 7.2.4 cinema like sound system in my man cave (aka garage). The sound is crisp and powerful. I enjoy watching movies and playing console games and the immersion is ridiculous. I always wanted a decent surround system and now I finally have one. The object oriented approach of Dolby Atmos allowed by this set up is astounding. I have the bass quite low as anything above 3/10 makes me think we’re having an earthquake here in California.

This is the best Soundbar system I have ever owned. I own two Vizio systems and this is replacing a Sony system. It is exactly what I needed for a fairly large room about 14 x 30. The dual subwoofers make it sound and feel like a true cinema experience. I researched for months and after careful consideration I’m happy I chose this Nakamichi.

Easy set up. Very powerful sound. You really need to be prepared to change up the sound mode if you’re picky about sound quality (a news program’s sound feed will be very different from a Dolby recorded movie). Take the time to ensure you have the set up that works best for you. I only have a cable box and streaming device to worry about. The only thing I plugged into the soundbar is the ARC connection to the TV, everything else is connected directly to the HDMI connections on the TV.

My old Sony soundbar broke down, so I tried the Nakamichi 7.2.4. It has plenty of power for a 20’x30′ room…I can crank the volume and still hear clear sound/voices. The bass from the two subwoofers is plenty powerful, and the surround/subwoofers can have volume controlled independently from the bar–it’s a nice feature to help balance the sound in your room. Be aware that the subwoofers are wireless, but then the surround speakers plug in (i.e. wired) to the subwoofers. It works well for my set up, but others may expect that all speakers are wireless. I’m definitely happy with my purchase–there’s a lot of bang for the buck.

Awesome all the way. I love having two subs really makes the low end even out and Omni directional like it should be. I replaced a Samsung k950 atmos soundbar with this one and am very pleased. It works so good with my log c1 over eARC that I forget it’s there. I have my Xbox into the tv and then this connected to the earc port and I am getting Dolby vision and atmos all the way.

I did a ton of research before buying the Nakamichi – 7.2.4-Channel 800W Soundbar System with Dual 8″ Wireless Subwoofers and Dolby Atmos and this system is fantastic. My wife says that she feels like we’re at the movies. I’m a music lover and the bass rumbles and is perfectly balanced with the mids and highs. If you’re tv supports ARC this makes the setup and experience even better. I thought this might be too much for my small living room space but I’m so glad I made this purchase. I highly recommend this system.

For the most part sounded great but had a rattle with voices while watching TV. Nakamichi customer support was excellent and indicated might need to be replaced. Problem was that my return window with Best Buy would have closed and didn’t want to risk it. Ended up going with Sonos and very happy. Nak is releasing a new 11.X system which I hear is great.

Honestly left lacking in many departments. The 2 subs is more of a gimmick then ground shaking bass. Ive had this a couple of months and im goimg to have to replace it due to the left channel being blown. The voice clarity is honesty very good, I’ve owned a lot of soundbars and this one really has great voice clarity. One thing that I seen in other reviews is the always on screen. I figured i wouldnt mind it but I do and its very bright! The hdmi ports are nice to have and it recognizes everything sourced to them. The best thing of all, the huge remote! Yes the huge remote im so sick of little remotes falling in the coach blending in with things lol! This remote is huge and literally cant be lost. Easy to hookup and looks great in the living room. Ive heard of an update to fix some sound issues but haven’t tried it yet. I do have this all ran via HDMI arc from a 2021 LG OLED C series. I would definitely recommend this over other brands just because of the voice clarity and ease of use. But if you want to spen like 5-600$ more get the bose 900 but make sure you add the rear speakers. The rear speakers with this system are huge and the due sound good. Really the main issue for me is the bass. I wish i could adjust the subs only instead of the bass thoughout the system.

I felt underwhelm when playing videos/music on youtube. Bass was lacking. Huge difference in bass quality when watching videos on amazon prime, the bass was shattering. It was an easy setup/install. The system sounded right away like it was automatic even if earc on tv was off.
