    Works as designed. I find it odd MS would have this proprietary way to charge the surface when they could have simply done so via USB-C. Like Apple with its Magsafe 2 for macbooks, i guess MS has to do something equally stupid. The charger does its intended purpose.

    In all honesty this is not a review of the product but of Best Buy and FedEx. My package sat at a FedEx location for 5 days then was dumped at a USPS location where it seems to be bouncing around. Through Best Buy, FedEx keeps sending updates that the package may be delayed, day after day. Note that the item originated within shipping and delivery state and need only move around 30 miles from location to location.

    I hope to be able to update this review later when/if the package is finally delivered. I can’t feature the product itself could get less than 5 stars though.

    Great power supply. It was definitely worth it to purchase an extra power supply that I can travel with. Because it is 65W, my Surface laptop charges fairly quickly. Don’t buy a 3rd party charger. Spend a few extra bucks and get a genuine Microsoft charger.

    The removable power cord of my power block was damaged. Best Buy informed me that the cord could not be purchased separately and that I had to buy a new power block. As I needd my computer immediately, I had no choice but to buy a new block. I later discovered that the poser cord in available on-line for $14.

    Excellent Service and products; power supply works flawless; I needed a power supply for my Windows brand machine.
    I was leaving on a business trip in the morning and my factory provided power supply was not working, 6 years on the road does that to cables.
    I was doing a presentation that afternoon. The tech was able to locate the power supply and quickly provided me with the proper manufactures specification model.
    I appreciated the Best Buy’s Tech support technician

    The product works well and charges my Surface Pro at a reasonable pace and has a good length for its cord. However, this is my third charger. I use my Surface Pro for work, so I use my charger everyday. Their lifespan is one to two years which is shorter than I would like as it costs a good chunk to keep buying one.

    Annoying that the charger for my computer is a proprietary windows port type, which makes it expensive and hard to find without stores like Best Buy. That being said, charger works fine and having the extra USB port is helpful.

    I had to replace my original charger which came with the Microsoft surface. Besides the fact that the newer chargers are not backwards compatible, this was an easy replacement and the new charger works just fine.

    You will have to order the charger and do an in-store pick up/delivery. They don’t carry these chargers on the shelf. But this was very easy.
