    I’m used to the world of aftermarket components not being of the same quality as factory, but this is easily just as good as I’d expect to get from the dealer. And all the wires were color coded to match the aftermarket deck I purchased. Couldn’t have worked better!

    I recently was giving a 2001 Subaru Outback (my grandparents vehicle) with a cassette player so I bought a new Kenwood radio. It fit the factory plug perfectly! I matched the colors from the harness to the colored wires of the head unit, and had no issues. It made installing the new head unit super simple.

    We pretty much just had to match up the colors to EIN standards, which ended up for at least the most part being matching each color to the same color. Makes installation super easy and the entire job was probably an hour of work.

    The harness made self-installation of the new radio a snap…literally! Had to connect 12 wires between the harness and the radio and plug the connector into the car. Simple to do. I just use wire connectors that you crimp together.
    Instructions were specific to the 2001 model subaru.

    works perfectly no need to fabricate nothing else. wires already spliced you just need to crimp them or Sauter them and you’re good!

    Necessary accessory for Subau installations. Clear instructions. I spliced this to the aftermarke radio harness on my workbench with a soldering iron and shrink tubing. Don’t try and do a patch job. Worth the effort to make the install easy, no struggling inside the vehicle or risk of loose wiring later on.
