    What I really liked about this unit is how far it does not stick out the window. It has pretty much a 50-50 inside and outside where it sits. It works extremely well and would definitely buy another one if need be.

    Bummed, we missed the return window. This AC is 6000 BTU’s it should be keeping our room COLD. We have it set on 65 (which is nuts too me). It is initially cold then it seems to turn off and restart, making it LOUD & warm. I am expecting it to turn on/off when its set on energy save but this is happening even when it is not.

    Returning, louvers are stationary and go up and have to leave curtain open , wished I’d looked before I bought , assembled the frame , by myself & installed , but it doesn’t get cool enough either , only good thing is this is quiet

    This air conditioner works great. Cools the medium size bedroom down quickly. I really like the remote. My sin actually uses it to shut off before going to sleep. I would reccomend this air condioner wholeheartedly.

    This is actually 3rd small (5000/6000 btu) ac unit in the past 4 years and this performs far better than my previous units. And so much less noise than the others. I highly recommend it for small room. Unless you want wi-fi capability, this is the BEST small budget ac unit out there.

    I have seen good and bad reviews for this A/C unit.
    So far it has performed very well, I think it’s a little louder than advertised but it isn’t bad at all. It cools well but it has to be installed properly. For it’s size and weight it is very good.
    If it continues to perform as it is, I will update this review to 5 stars.

    Not Worth the money, it is loud, after 4 months the AC stopped working only stays on Fan mode and Best Buys “hands are tied” the filter reset button won’t un-click after filter was already cleaned.

    Cools a good sized bedroom and Qi’s quiet. Only drawback is that vents point upward and not straight out.

    Works great, purchased for an efficiency unit aprox 150 sqft. It cools the space quickly. Some people find it a bit noisy but no more than say a box fan. Which some people like for white noise.

    The Display is facing upwards, so much that you have to be right over the display to view the functions, So unless you have the remote Control in your hand you have to walk to the unit to see what is running. Not such big issue as the unit itself is running and cooling just fine.

    It does cool down the room well, but it is a little annoying that the air comes out from the top only. It is hard to see the buttons and the display of the temperature.

    Nothing but good things to say. I bought this to run during the day, so I could preserve my central AC during this summer heat. I thought maybe it was too small for my family room, but it’s perfect, and does the job…

    Very happy with this A/C. Keeps room nice and cool. Filter is easy to clean. I installed it myself and I am 69 yrs of age.

    Excellent cooling power. It is hard to see the display unless you are standing in front of the unit because of the way the top of the unit is angled.

    I think it’s nice white noise, but there’s no mode for cooling I’d deem as “extremely quiet” like I read other reviewers call the noise level, except maybe low fan – but that doesn’t do enough for me to warrant using that setting.

    Still, it cools the heck out of a studio apartment and it’s a decent price. This is my second summer using the AC.

    Our new air conditioner is working perfectly for the area we have it in. It is quiet and efficient and the remote control is a wonderful addition. It doesn’t stay on all the time which is great for our electric bill. We are so very happy with this model.

    This AC does not cool my room at all. I measured my room to make sure it was 250 sq feet to make sure it was the right AC. The air blows out at 60 degrees but the room never cools. It is a very small narrow room. This AC is very weak, the highest setting doesn’t blow out air with enough power. I ran it for hours and the room never got cool. I bought it in april and now best buy won’t give me a refund or exchange. Threw away money.

    So far so good. My boyfriend just installed this two days ago. I get very hot at night and needed something to help. I was worried it would be loud but it isn’t. Of course it makes noise and is not completely silent but it does not bother us when sleeping or watching tv.
    We had a very hard time finding wide enough screen side panels to go in our window and finally just improvised.
    Overall though I’m happy. It has a remote but it’s not too fancy.

    Works well. I thought I made a mistake not getting 8000 BTU for my room, but it cools the room well. I like the vent is face up instead of front so I don’t feel it blowing directly on me.
