    This toaster is an average toaster, nothing special in my opinion. I don’t use it often, but when I do it gets the job done. So far, I only use the number one setting. Every other setting burns my toast, but number 1 leaves it perfect.

    This toaster does the job though I do agree with other users that it runs hot. I’ve only toasted plain white bread on the lowest setting and it gets pretty toasted. Bagels can be toasted at the 3rd setting and get pretty brown. I can’t imagine what the highest setting would do. It functions fine, the crumb tray makes it easy to clean and it’s a decent size.

    I wouldn’t know I bought it and my brother ending up taking it when he moved into his new apartment. He hasn’t returned it so I’m sure it works well.

    Didnt know I’d like a toaster so much. I had a different one before and I was so annoyed of trying to grab the little price of bread out. This toaster doesn’t have that problem. The lever lifts it up higher than other toasters, which makes grabbing small pieces of toast or pop tarts easy. Also makes a beep when the toast is done.

    Very strong toaster. Must be designed for thicker breads and bagels. I use the 2 setting so as not to get my bread burned. Love it!

    Firstly, this device is an acceptable toaster. It has wide slots and a bagel mode and a very (too?) simple adjustment knob.

    My disappointment arises from the fact that the finish of the toaster does not match the finish (nor really build quality) of our KitchenAid Mixer. Because they sit side by side on my counter I was hoping for a more uniform appearance.

    I picked it up at the store 1/13/21 after waiting for 3 weeks for it to be in stock. DISAPPOINTED! Tried twice to toast bread because the first time it was brown on one side and pale on the opposite side. I thought maybe it needed to get a second try, but it did the same thing. I was replacing a toaster I had for a few years that only recently wasn’t really ‘toasting’ anymore. This toaster on the first day isn’t toasting on both sides of ordinary bread (not a bagel). It’s going back to the store promptly! My old Hamilton Beach was 10X better! Don’t buy it if you want ‘even’ toasting.

    This toaster is a real disappointment. It is a big bulky unit that looks out of place with my other kitchen aid appliances which were purchased a few years ago. This toaster is also defective: at levels 2 and 3 it burns on one side while the opposite side is barely toasted at all. Also, it only accommodates small pieces of bread because the slots are only 5-1/2″ long. The width can accommodate bagels. The outside on the length side appears to be plastic. The width appears to be some kind of metal but it’s really pretty cheap. I don’t think it is aluminum. Overall I do not recommend this toaster.

    Good construction, but heats very quick, keep the dial under 3 unless you like things burnt. Biggest downfall is it has the worlds shortest cord. Wish it was about double its length, had to get a extension. Expected a bit better design from kitchenaid, but its their basic toaster.

    Nice looking toaster. Appears well made. Whole machine does not get hot in outside which makes it safer. I do feel that bread is toasted a bit unevenly.

    It’s bigger than I thought it would be. It doesn’t pop u p the toast haven’t used it for bagels yet. You have to stand and watch to see it if is done. Not too impressed with this item.
