I have lived with this range for four years now. I still love the looks and the top cooking hub. Thats all. I have since bought a breville airfry/oven to use ve the range. The aqualift clean system doesnt work. It may work once in a while but in general this is not a self cleaning oven. I spent an entire day cleaning the inside and its still dirty. I miss my old frigidaire.

Product is excellent, installation and follow-up woeful. Installer broke the main plug housing, but said that’s OK, a follow up from the Geek Squad said should be replaced. Now I have to file an insurance claim. Get a local electrician to do the work and claim for it. Also not installed on the level so have to get a re-install. Wouldn’t recommend Best Buy to anyone.

I am very pleased with my new KitchenAid range. It replaced a Samsung that lost it’s black finish and the glass top would always show that there was a burner on. I believe that this was a great replacement. I got all 4 appliances and I am very happy.

This range is great so far. Eyes heat up quickly and evenly, and the oven takes about as long as you’d expect, maybe faster. The “Keep Warm” eye is nice but havent had a ton of chances to use it. My favorite part of this range is the various functionalities from the steam bake to the large eye with three different sizes within it. This range feels like i have a new level of freedom in the kitchen and less restriction cause i no longer wonder if all my pots and pans will fit!

Great looking stove. One less star because unlike the Kithchen Aid it is replacing, it doesn’t have side strips to cover the gap between stove and counter. Also the top digital panel must be locked if not in use because it is easily turned on just by brushing against it.

The range door was improperly assembled, so we exchanged it. The replacement’s top was improperly assembled, so we exchanged that one, too. The third one is assembled ok, but the drawer has an extremely sharp edge on it. It takes a very long time to preheat, and the convection fan chirps at times. Finally, the self clean cycle just makes warm water in the bottom and doesn’t remove grease. You can’t use oven cleaner, and it takes a lot of scrubbing to make it just mildly clean. Not worth the money.

This oven was quite expensive and we have found it to be extremely underpowered. We bought this to replace our old oven/range installed in our house in 1997. This one seems very underpowered. It takes forever for the oven to pre-heat and the cooktop has a difficult time keeping water at a boil even on the high heat burner. For example once you bring a pot to boil and then add in some potatoes the range takes a long time (3-5 min) to bring the water back to boil. The variable size burner is nice but does not overcome the poor performance. Also the drawer at the bottom feels very cheap.

Love this range. Oven light is very bright which is so helpful and the stovetop is quick to heat! The only thing is that I am not sure the ULTRA setting works properly on the right front burner but this thing runs so hot anyway it really doesn’t matter.

Only have owned this range for a few weeks. It replaced a similarly sized Samsung that slid in with perfect fit. This range has a 3/4 inch deep gap at the sides. Bought a KitchenAid kit that was supposed to cover the gaps. Kit doesn’t fit.
My major problem, however, cleaning the range You need to be supercareful when cleaning the steel trim. It is such poor quality that it scratched when I used paper towel to scrub a stain. And cleaning spills on the glass top is a nightmare because the instructions say you cannot use steel pads. KitchenAid sells a cleaner kit called Affresh. Save your money and use Soft Scrub and elvow grease. I also bought the KitchenAid stainless steel cookware recommended for use with the range. It is true that it doesn’t leave marks on the glass. But like the range it is impractical for cooking as you cannot clean stuck on food with “harsh abrasives.” And believe me food really sticks to these pans. Just tried to make scrambled eggs on low heat and was rewarded with a sticky mess.

* I like this oven with the knobs up front.
* Cleans up nicely
Negatives:
* The oven temperature came 20 degrees too low. I was able to re-calibrate after a few failed meals.
* The convection unit hasn’t worked from day 1. I didn’t even know, I just thought the feature was overrated until I saw a cooking video and noticed the fan spinning. Mine doesn’t spin.
* Low doesn’t go low enough on the main front burners. Low goes straight to boll.
Conclusion: I will not buy a Kitchen Aid
