This was my birthday present to myself. This was supposed to be an upgrade– really it isn’t. The unit works well. However, the installer was completely rude to me, was late and ignored my instructions abou USB placement twice. Ignoring me twice, he placed usb ext in the glove compartment against my wishes and that limits my use of AA (the upgrade I wanted) because I dont travel with my phone in the glove compartment, and the glove compartment is difficult to open regardless of whether the cord is hanging out of it. This sorry installation was done at the Columbus Ga BB. I’d advise avoiding installation at that store. I have no intentions of using this store again because it was such a bad experience from pickup to installation. It’s been two weeks and I still think about the poor treatment. For services like this, the technicians should know how to listen the customer. I did not get the installation I wanted, and the fact that it was a free installation doesn’t make up for it at all.

Was extremely excited to get this unit in our boys car due to the handsfree system. Phone connects to the unit two ways, Bluetooth and USB. Then we found out you cannot due android auto via Bluetooth. With that and a couple other features missing. It’s a middle of the road system at best.

It works great but I had a problem with the clock not staying at the right time. I had to find the solution online because I couldn’t get an appointment for at least a couple weeks. It was an easy solution I had to go into something like RCA and turn it off.

Good value but I would have liked to see the option to change the color of the buttons, they are blue but my cars interior is red/orange. I am told the included microphone picks up my voice fine and the person on the other end of the line can hear me clearly. The display is on the smaller side and can be problematic seeing maps in CarPlay in dual view mode (where you have the map on one half of the screen and your music on the other half). The button to activate the voice assistant (Siri for iphone users) is not labeled so it can be hard to find and distracting if you are driving because it is a touch sensitive button. Overall I would recommend because it helps to greatly remove the need to use your phone while driving.

I got this because it was on sale and I thought for the price it would be okay. And to its credit, it is functional, and i think a lot of people can overlook its downsides if all you’re going to use is android auto or carplay. However, the unit is filled with quirks. You can’t reorganize the screen, which is very annoying and their setup makes it look very janky. You cant customize the colors or any of that. The biggest issue is the labeling of the touch buttons. They dont light up. The light next to the button does, so all you see at night is a “-” for ALL of them. And if you’re driving this can be dangerous. Oh and they put weird gestures for the touch screen that do different things you wouldn’t expect, nor the things you’d want. I’ve tried to get used to this unit, but its truly awful. I give it a 2 for having android auto at such a low price point.
