I previously had the JBL 9.1 which was very good. This is even better. Sub is at another level, similar to my main SVS and the sound is awesome. Love the app, although it is pretty simple and the 3 pass throughs are a good addition. I use this in my office/game room.

I have not received my surround sound system yet. The 3 star rating is for the terrible customer service. They shipped my item to the wrong address and now tell me it’s on back order. JBL makes quality products but Best Buy needs a refresher course on customer service.

Awesome sound quality with booming bass! Easily fills an entire room with sound, I’ve even noticed sounds not normally audible on other systems because of the high quality output. The detachable speakers make for an easy to set up surround sound experience. Be sure to download the JBL one app, once paired you can adjust the equalizer to adjust bass, mid and treble. My only complaint is that the remote is not the most functional. There are certain functions, like turning the pure voice function on and off, that require specific inputs that don’t make a whole lot of sense, nor are they easy to find in the manual. Overall this is a quality soundbar that you won’t regret purchasing.

Very powerfull soundbar, the detachable satellite speakers are a must. The chance to use the satellite speakers as a standalone speaker connecting them through bluetooth is also a great feature.
The JBL app, is not the best but after a few attempt to get it setup, it works fine. However, the app still doesnt have that many features that can suppsort the soundbar, but its good to have for simple setups.

This is the best soundbar ever very heavy sound and nice bass production.I basically set the volume at 35 because at 50 u would feel the beats vibrating on ur walls.I recommend this for larger and small living rooms.

Sounds great when speakers are all set up and detached. Unfortunately, the side speakers need to be detached in order for them to work; when detached, the batteries only last 2 days before I have to reattach and wait for them to charge. Too much work to keep them working. I would like one time setup and have them always working.

We were expecting (and got) a huge low end with the massive subwoofer, but we’re really pleased with the depth of sound for mid and high end, and surprisingly at all volume levels. Music is very good, but the depth of sound in “big” movies is really something – it pushes you back in your seat.

I have it in my bedroom and it truly sounds like im in a movie theater. Ive been off work 2 weeks and haven’t missed a day playing it! This unit is overpriced. I have not succeeded yet to successfully call the support. I think their support policy has changed.The speed is a little bit faster than the previous modem, although it fluctuates during the day. I have to reboot the modem to get a better speed.

Its a good home theater system. Only issue I’ve ran through twice in the almost 2 months of having it is it randomly disconnected from tv, sound would only be heard in tv speakers (samsung q led 75″). Had to unplug unit from power waiting a little bit and reconnected it which seemed to fix the issue. System is up-to-date software wise. Just hope I dont keep running into the issue in the future.
