During my years of running, I’ve come to appreciate a running belt for taking my phone with me, as opposed to arm bands or other solutions. That’s because a running belt holds the phone securely without constantly reminding you that it’s there. I’ve used a number of cheaper belts like this, but I decided it was time to try out a nicer one, which is where this Insignia belt comes in.
The belt is black with neon green and yellow accents, and a few stripes of reflective tape. It’s made of a slightly stretchy nylon material on the outside, and the inside is lined with a slick coating that would seem to provide some water resistance. Although Best Buy says it’s not water resistant, I found that the interior coating protected my phone from getting wet from my sweat while I ran. Looking at its construction, I’m not sure how well it would do in a rainstorm, but I think it would provide at least enough protection to get out of the rain.
The belt has a large main pocket to accommodate phones up to 7 inches. It was plenty big enough for my iPhone 12 in a case. What’s nice about this belt is that it also has separate compartments to allow you to carry other things. On each side of the phone pocket are compartments for things like keys other little items you may want to have with you. One of these pockets also features an integrated clip to hold your key in place, and this is a nice touch. There are also 2 slim pockets behind the phone compartment that could be used to keep folded money if you like.
The Insignia Running Belt is well-made and held my phone in place without bouncing while I ran—this is what’s most important to me. Adjusting the belt’s sizing is easy to do, with an integrated finger loop included. The only area that concerned me was the belt’s clip. It feels pretty solid, but the plastic is thin, causing me to wonder about its long-term strength. Time will tell, and perhaps the thinner plastic will prove to be more comfortable than something thicker. Overall, this is a nicer belt than others I’ve used. If you’re looking for something to hold your phone without bouncing around to annoy you during your run, this is a good choice. If you need something fully waterproof, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

I was looking for a running belt like this one to be able to put my iPhone 13 Pro Max while riding my bike or exercise. This insignia belt has one zippered pocket that I could put my iPhone 13 Pro Max while running or riding my bike, also have to small side pockets to keep my AirPods and my car keys safe from falling out. The nylon material feels durable and comfortable to wear around your waist and the strap is adjustable to any size you need. The only downside about this running belt is not water water resistance , it may resist some sweat or some water splash, but I rather have a belt that can be completely water resistance to protect my iPhone and AirPods in case that it
rains heavily, the other downside is that the pocket that has a key holder it’s made in a cheap plastic, as soon as I try to put my vehicle keys, the clip broke, as seen on my pictures. Other than the no water resistance and the cheap plastic key holder, the exercise belt is good for keeping your phone with you while exercising.

This is about the Insignia Running Belt for my Samsung Galaxaxy S23+. This one is black and neon green. The neon green is the reflective part which is great for running or jogging once it starts getting dark out.
The large pocket holds my phone snugly and inside this large pocket are two smaller ones right behind the phone. I find that my license fits perfectly in one and I suppose if I had a credit card or bills I wanted to carry, I could use the other pocket for that. Everything in there zips up for protection. And then on the side of the large pocket are two much smaller side pockets. I put my earplugs into one of the side pockets and the other one I put my keys in. It actually has a key clip inside one pocket to keep my keys in place.
It is made out of nylon material and is pretty soft and also seems strong enough to protect my phone and other items. I am not sure if this is water resistant though, it doesn’t say, so I’m assuming it isn’t. So if it were raining I probably wouldn’t want to wear it outside. The belt is adjustable. It fits snugly around my waist while I was exercising at the gym and when I was running and jogging at the pond.

This Insignia running belt is a great alternative to using either an arm band, or worse, running with the phone in your hand. Arm bands for phones always felt awkward to me and make me miss the old days of running with an iPod Nano.
This running belt is very thin and made of stretchy nylon material. It really holds your phone snuggly. On the one hand, that’s good because the phone doesn’t flop around as you’re moving. On the other hand, it’s not easy to quickly pull the phone out if you need to use it. You’ll be relying quite a bit on the controls of your ear buds or smart watch, assuming you are using those.
Besides holding your phone, there are a couple of pockets where you can insert a credit card, ID, or a little bit of cash (or a Benjamin, if that’s the way you roll). The are also small pockets on the two sides of the zippered phone pocket for loose change or a small ring of keys. The phone pocket has a little bit of plastic shielding on the outward facing side to keep rain from becoming too much of a problem. That said, it is not waterproof. The side that faces your body is only fabric so it’s possible to become a bit sweaty depending on how tight the straps are tied.
Speaking of the straps, the one downside to this belt is if you’re small waisted, there’s a lot of extra strap left hanging. While I don’t have this issue (which is why I’m running in the first place!), it is something my wife has to deal with. Regardless, it’s a great belt.

Summary: The Insignia Running Belt provides convenient, low profile, ergonomic storage for your phone, ID, credit card, keys and some cash during almost any type of athletic activity.
I wanted something minimalist that could carry a phone, ID, credit card, keys, and some emergency cash while I was out walking, running, on the gravel bike, or going to the gym. Arm bands and shorts pockets just don’t work for me, that stuff is always getting banged around, or worse, banging into me. The Insignia Running Belt works really well. It’s flat, holds my phone snugly, has a couple of credit card size pockets in the main section, and a couple of small side pockets for keys and a $20 bill. It’s black, with a neon stripes and reflective accents for visiblity. Construction and quality seem to be pretty good. I don’t know if it’s waterproof, but it is splashproof. It does seem to be breathable, or at least it doesn’t induce a sweat spot like my larger fanny packs do. It also stays put on my waist without cinching too tightly, so I’m not continually pulling it back up.
All in all, I’m very happy with the running belt. If you’re looking for a solution to keeping your stuff together without affecting your posture or gait, definitely look at the Insignia Running Belt.

This Insignia Running Belt is precisely what my wife and I have been looking for as it provides an easy and comfortable way to carry an iPhone, a driver’s license, and a credit card during our long beach walks with our feet in the water. This belt makes it entirely unnecessary to bring along a separate carrying bag or use pants pockets (which swimsuits don’t have anyway) to store your iPhone and/or credit cards.
Her iPhone 14 Pro fits nicely in the main pocket, and the zipper makes it easy to remove the iPhone without running the fear that the additional cards may fall out if you use the two separate pockets inside the main pocket. This running belt makes everything easier, and you can wear it comfortably all day if needed. This belt adjusts nicely to various waist sizes.
My wife gives this running belt an enthusiastic thumbs-up, though, we must admit we have not tested this belt while running or in the rain (there is no mention of whether or not it’s water-resistant). Can’t go wrong with this running belt (and you don’t need to be a runner to justify getting it).

This running belt holds larger phones easily. I have a iPhone 13 Pro and the main phone pocket has room to spare so could definitely handle a larger phone. It holds the phone well and the belt is comfortable during runs. It has elastic on one side of the belt to let it flex a bit and it stayed put once I got the belt tension set.
It has 3 pockets: 1 large zipper pocket for your phone and then 2 smaller ones that are ideal size for money, credit card, or hotel room key and 1 of the small pockets also has a clip for keys. Note that the smaller pockets don’t have a zipper, but still held things fine.
The zipper strap is highly reflective if you’re running in the early morning or evening it should help keep you visible to cars.
I’ve run a few miles in 90+ degree heat and my phone didn’t get sweaty inside the belt pocket, so it’s definitely water and sweat resistant. It’s mostly nylon and it folds up nice and small to fit in one of my running shoes when traveling. All in all pleased with this belt and it meets my needs.

My iPhone 13 with its big case protector fits perfectly. I love hiking and I hike many different trails so the nylon that it’s made of even protects from sweating and looks great on my waist.
Where I live sometimes the weather changes unexpectedly and rains. Even though it doesn’t say it is waterproof, I have noticed that it provides enough protection against heat or water which makes me feel confident that my phone, as well as my airpods, which are secured in another compartment, will be well protected. It has 2 extra little pockets, I use one for the airpods and the other for coins, ID or a credit card.
The strap is easy to adjust and overall barely shows around my waist. I like the Neon Green with the reflective stripes tape, it’s a great idea. The locking clip is made of plastic, but it seems to me that it’s very strong. The finish feels soft, and it is very light This is a very good quality belt design to protect my two important assets while I am jogging, riding bicycle, or hiking, for a very affordable price.

This Insignia running belt is great for keeping your phone and other small necessities with you when running and/or working out. Easily holds a large phone with case. Example- Pixel 6 Pro, One Plus 11 and Iphone 14Pro max. Can also hold an ID/credit card and a single key. I only used with Bluetooth headsets, no lag, connection issues or distortion. The reflective materiel is extremely reflective. Cars should have no problems seeing you in the dark/dusk. Tested from a block away, corner to corner. While the person wearing it wasn’t readily visible at this distance, the reflective line easily caught attention.
Some cons- If you’re a bigger person with more than about a 42 inch waist it may be too tight. I’m right at 42 and it’s at the limit of comfort. Fabric pouch doesn’t breath well. Coupled with a phone in this heat and you’re in for some heavy spot sweating. To keep the pouch from flopping around, you will need to play with positioning to get it right for your comfort. I found for me that it was right hip, about the 5 O’clock position. Your comfort position may vary. Still a good way to exercise and keep your phone secured with you.

Finally a running belt that holds my large phone and even has small bonus pockets for your smaller items. I am extremely happy with the lightweight feel but it is really sturdy and holds my phone and extras really well. My last belt was kind of bulky and this is really slim and holds everything really well. I need something for my long training runs (marathon) and this has worked our really well. I am 6’ 200+ and t fits really nice around my waist. I can adjust it to the right tightness and it holds its shape. It holds my iPhone 13 pro max really well and I still have room for my keys in the smaller pouches. I run in very humid weather and so far it has held up well and keeps the sweat off my device. I am looking forward to using this on my training runs as I prepare for my next marathon.
I am not sure about using it in the rain, as it hasn’t rained yet during any of my runs. I like that I can place my earbuds in the small pouch when they are not being used. Or I can bring my earbud charger along with me if they need a quick re charge on my LONG runs. Very nice deasign, nice storage, and great material and fit.

Got this for my wife to use on our walks or when she runs by herself. The nylon material makes it very lightweight and sturdy. It has a stretchy material, but seems like high quality and will hold up as long as you don’t over pack it.
My wife has an iPhone mini and it fits perfectly inside. She was able to place her phone, drivers license, credit cards. We have a smart door lock, but I’m confident a house key car key and/or car keys will fit nicely as well.
My wife has now used this on our last 8 walks and she says she loves it. She’s used it on 3 runs all over 3 miles each and said its small build doesn’t get in her way. Insider tip here is to wear it on the front while walking. Wear it on the back while running.
Side note for sizing – I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it fit perfectly. I don’t want to stretch out the material, so I won’t be putting my phone in it while walking. I just wanted to note that I was impressed that my phone fit!
Pros:
Price
Fits a phone and wallet
Can be used as a Fanny pack or over the shoulder
1 zippered pocket and 2 side pockets
Nylon material
Reflective trim for those walking at night
Cons:
Nothing
Overall:
It doesn’t get better than this at its current price. I highly recommend this. It’s perfect for throwing your phone in it and going on a run or nice long walk. You can’t beat it!
Picky –
I like the fit of this. It’s tight for the iPhone 14 Pro but hold it nicely to the body when running.
TouchFree –
Hands free to hold phone and ID while wearing this pouch.
CarlosE –
Very comfortable to wear you can’t even tell you’re wearing it a lot of space for two phones ☎️ and wallet!
HungS –
Sleek and comfy. Just what i needed, but still cant fit my phone even though it 7 inch
Jacko –
Thought this would be designed for everyone but even at its loosest it won’t fit me. I wear size 32 pants so not huge or anything. It does have a nice design, big pockets, and a solid buckle, just for smaller people I guess.
TS01 –
I like the light weight and my phone and ID fits in it

i got one during black friday; fortunate enough it was still available for cyber monday so i got 2 more. Great for christmas stocking stuffer and for travelling.

I recently purchased a Google Pixel 8 Pro and have it in a slim Nillkin frosted case. The phone with the case fits in the pouch, albeit it’s a little snug, but that’s good if wearing the belt for running for such a large phone. Any larger phone, like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra probably wouldn’t fit due to its larger form factor and sharp corners. Time will tell with the durability of the pouch and belt, but so far so good.
Brebro –
This holds my iPhone 11 with plenty of room to zip it shut and I can keep my car key safely secured via the clip and pocket combo to make sure I arrive back from my run with both of these important items intact. The reflective areas are appreciated for the dark evening runs I have to go on at the dark time of the year when the sunset comes so early.
Emmanuel –
It was a gift for my mom and so far she seems to really be enjoying it. She said she likes the material it’s made of and she primarily uses it for going on walks.
Andy –
We bought this belt so our son’s diabetic materials are alway close to him. He is only 60lbs and the belt works great. It fits his phone, insulin pump controller and small snacks for low blood sugars. The zipper seems to be strong and has not bound up. The reflective stripe is nice as well.
Ughjjjj –
GREAT. WELL CONSTRUCTED. VERY USEFUL AND PRACTICAL.
Sreeny –
Great product, It works out for runners to carry their pocket stuff, so it does not distract during the run! I just the phone pocket was bigger, so it’s easier to store and retrieve bigger phones.
JamesC –
Roomy enough to fit my iPhone 13 and was snug enough that it didn’t move around while I was running. Waist is adjustable and phone is always easy to access. Best part is that your hands are free while running instead of carrying your phone in your hand the whole run.
AllCity –
Holds my phone and ID as needed. No complaints!

I had been looking for a product like this for a long time, ordered some on Amazon , but had to return them because didn’t really like how they look or how they didn’t really fit or some other reasons, this product from Best Buy however it’s awesome I like it very much… I recommend 100%

This Pouch was exactly what I wanted. It’s not bulky at all. It holds my iphone 13 with Protective case and it has extra pockets for keys or airpods. It fits sung to my waist and I can hide it with my shirt or coat without poking out.
TryitBuyit –
Great!! good material doesn’t slide and works for intermittent movement of sprint. highly recommend

This is the perfect belt for my running and gym workouts. Love it!
LeslieG –
Bought for my brother to use for his cell phone, as he has a bad habit of losing his phones by leaving them where he sets them down. He appreciates it, as the phone fits perfectly, and has promised he will not lose his phone.

This running belt is absolute delight to use. The build quality far exceeds my expectations. The pocket has ample space to hold my 6.4″ screen smartphone and my apartment and car key plus a few dollar bills. There is still some space left. It wraps firmly around my waist while I enjoy my morning jog. The strap is adjustable so it will easily fit any size waist. Overall it is very comfortable around my waist while I am running.
