    This does a perfectly fine job. I could have bought microwaves that were much more expensive but wouldn’t have performed any better at all. It’s the best value for the wattage I found anywhere. The only thing less than ideal about it is the popcorn setting, which isn’t long enough. But seriously, who cares? This is a great deal and you should get one.

    This is a great little microwave for the price. Its compact size takes little counter space but fits a 10in plate just fine. It is actually pretty quiet when running as well.

    The microwave is pretty basic but has everything I need. Works well so far. I gave it 4 stars because the piece of the plastic of the door was already slightly bent when I received it.

    It’s simple, it works, but probably won’t last long. This was a replacement for the same unit I purchased about 1 1/2 years ago that stopped working. It was used in an office environment so was used several times every day. One day it would just spin with the light on by itself. Had the exact same issue with a 3 year old GE CAFE in wall microwave that was 30x more expensive so I am not knocking this brand. Microwaves are 100% throwaway items now so I figure them as a biannual expense

    I like this microwave even more than the other one I had, and it cost less than my other. I was surprised at how it it is so quiet. It works great. It’s a good weight and much better made than I expected for this price. I would definitely recommend it. If this one ever quits, I’d purchase the same it available.

    Our last microwave lasted 25 years. This one works fine and has nice features like dimming or off for the display and silent mode so there is no beep at the end of the cycle, which is nice when you live in a house with people working multiple shifts. Just know it is a little smaller ar 0.9 Cu. Ft. Basically a full size popcorn bag will stop spinning on the turntable when it expands the whole way. Other than that for the money you can’t beat it.

    I wanted a cheap no frills microwave after moving into a new apartment. This one does the job for a one person household like a college or single. It holds only one large dinner plate, so warming up a big item like a plate of frozen tamales it took more time with. The buttons are a bit mushy on the keypad. Cooks frozen dinners well. Defrost settings is on point. I don’t really have to add time to any instructions because it has the power. Would recommend if you too are looking for a budget microwave.

    I have never purchased an Insignia brand product. I considered them lower quality and not worth the money. I had nothing to base that on, just an uninformed opinion. I purchased this microwave because it was on sale and my higher priced microwaves seemed to only last a few years. I figure I can spend less and buy more often on this device.

    The quality of construction impressed me. It is not flimsy metal. The door closes solidly but a bit noisily. The operation is significantly quieter than I am used to from the higher priced products. This was a pleasant surprise.

    I like the multiple function button and the fact that hold the “8” key down turns off all the beeping. Brilliant!

    The only negative is the blue digital readout. I am not a fan. It looks like the blue Christmas lights you see on some houses that sort of hurts your eyes. It is a minor annoyance; one I can live with.

    I can highly recommend this product and will not shy away from the Insignia brand in the future.

    I’m very impressed. This has more power than my larger GE a microwave and vent hood combo that cost over $400. It cooks better, faster and is more powerful with the same features. It’s quiet and small on the counter.

    This microwave is the best size for my office. It’s also big on the inside for any plate of food. Much needed and employees won’t complain about anymore cold food lol. I’m glad I came to Best Buy’s for great selections

    The size, styling and useability set this .9 cu.ft. Insignia microwave right up there at the top. Functionally there have been no issues and it is visibly attractive, if that can be said of a microwave.

    Great Microwave till just the other day it turned on by itself and now nothing will turn it off outside of unplugging it. It was purchased 2 years and 3 months ago, just outside that return window. At least this was the first Insignia product that has failed on me…So far.
