    Horrible – we had 3 appliances on order. One we couldn’t get even though they kept giving us delivery dates the second and third showed up damaged. Will NEVER purchase from Best Buy again

    I’m very very upset. The microwave was described as open box excellent and there were dents and dings all over the door!

    Would have been a great microwave if the door wasn’t dented when it was delivered. No damage to the box so it must have been packed that way. No additional stock available so now I’m looking for something different.

    the beeping is a little obnoxious when the timer goes off

    Don’t like, noise, the button doesn’t work part of the time, black interior with poor lighting. Ours is built-in so had to order a trim kit(was told the old kit would work)have not heard when the new one it will arrive. This unit was suppose to be a replacement, same size model etc.

    I bought the GE profile 2.2 CuFt SS Microwave from the store, open box, however, the description provided details about the great condition of the unit. However, it did not include the big dent on the unit door, it looks terrible. The product was stored in a safe place by me until installation since the new kitchen cabinets were delayed. Unfortunately, I opened the box 6 weeks after to realize the damage, and the date for returning it was expired. So, I have to buy a new one and lost almost $400. In addition, the unit was described as Built-in compatible, which is not, so anyways I cannot use it for the intended application. Between supply chain issues and this kind of situation, it adds to the stressful lives we already have.

    Not built to last! This GE only lasted 3 years and I’ve replaced it several times. I am done with GE.

    I purchased this GE 2.2 Profile Sept 2020 to replace the same size during a remodel. I had to return and upsize the trim as the dimensions on Best Buy site were wrong (needs 27 inch trim). It has worked well until now — suddenly the display cycles random numbers and none of the buttons are working. The warranty was only one year, so I’m looking at a $140 service visit just to come look. Probably cheaper to just replace, but I am NOT happy!

    Bought this unit from Best Buy without the protection plan. First strip on bottom broke. Couldn’t get GE to fix it even under warranty time frame. Then fuse went out and finally unit stop working. Bought new Whirlpool microwave. GE products suck…..don’t waste your money!

    These are excellent products. We recently replaced one and were happy to find this still was available.

    CAUTION, though. Be sure you are getting the right model. This is the countertop model. It may look almost exactly like the model that can be mounted, but it is not the same. The old model could rest on a countertop or could be mounted. This cannot do that.

    Arrived poorly packaged, like it had been an open box item. Dents in the sheet metal, and a concave back. It was a disaster.

    We had to replace our built-in microwave and this GE Profile was the only one we understood would fit into the existing opening. The new microwave has less power and takes longer to heat the same items, it also sounds very tinny when opening and closing the door. The inside is also black and not a bright clean cream color. To save the extra reinstall cost we decided to keep it.

    Replaced a non-working ge profile microwave with this one. Even though the microwave say “countertop”, we have ours mounted in the cabinets. Had to make mods to the original mounting hardware, but after adding a few more holes, the microwave fit perfectly.

    Still waiting. I have received two microwaves, the first one arrived significantly damaged. I returned it in the store and ordered a second. The second one arrived damaged as well. It would not fit into the trim kit due to damage. I returned it to the store and now I’m waiting on my third to arrive!

    I bought this open box to replace my old GE profile microwave. It’s been a few months and it works great, no issues so far. Best part is that it was a lot cheaper than buying new and just bought 2 yr warranty.

    I returned this item, not because of the quality of the item, but the information on the website. I wanted a built in microwave and it appeared in that filter. I was even encouraged to buy a trim kit for it, but this item is not designed to be built in.
