    Small but great for 2 people. Hard to find 24″ units. Lots of features. Quality seems to be pretty good.

    Very quiet works as expected. Maintenance of cleaning out lint filter can be tricky…read the directions or else you will do damage to the unit.

    First compact dryer i have purchased. Had to sell my full size unit due to limited space when i moved. I was skeptical of the smaller unit performance. It has ptoved efficient. Has multiple cycle combinations to handle all my laundry needs. Best buy installation is ideal for me.

    We moved to a new condo with very little room for a washer and dryer. This was our best option. A warning – the dryers are easy to dent, on the sides. The first two, of 3 dryers, arrived with almost invisible dents that created a very noisy dryer experience. The third dryer had no issues. Getting replacements took an annoyingly long time. The dryers have a small capacity and do take longer to dry, even light loads, but it fits the smallish space, which was the goal.

    The first one I bought was from Lowes. When I received the dryer and installed it, there was a loud thumping banging noise on the right side of the dryer. I returned it. I bought an open box one from Best Buy and installed it, same banging noise. I returned it. I bought a brand new one from Best Buy and installed it, same banging noise. I returned it and bought a new Haier dryer (same dimensions as the GE dryer since GE is now owned by Haier, a Chinese manufacturer). The Haier dryer had the same banging noise. I’m going to try one more Haier dryer and if that doesn’t work, I’m giving up. The interesting thing is all the dryers I received showed an indentation on the right side of the dryer (straight out from the box). So frustrating because the GE washer I got seemed to work OK so far but it’s too late to return it. I’ll probably have to buy a different dryer brand which won’t be compatible with the GE washer so I’ll have to figure how to stack them.

    The noise drives me crazy. I bought my new-born baby boy a noise-cancelling headphone because of this. However he needs to wear the headphone for at least an hour or two, which makes him uncomfortable. I also got myself a pair of ear plugs. This is very inconvenience to my family because we can’t watch TV with the ear plugs on.

    I wish to know if there’s any sound isolation pads will help, or I will return this dryer soon.

    Perfect dryer for a small space, good capacity, does not overdry clothes. It does take a little longer to dry, a typical load is about 1.5 hours. A bargain if it’s on sale

    once installed it made a clicking noise when test run. Best Buy will not replace it! I didn’y buy a protection plan? Your kidding! On the day of delivery the dryer did not run right.
    Never again!

    I’ve only been using this dryer for a couple weeks, but I’m extremely impressed with the features and ease of use designed into this unit. It’s a nice looking appliance to boot. The capacity is quite decent for such a compact system, and it’s perfect for the smaller space of an apartment laundry closet.

    So, folks will likely look at this dryer and think it’s just for dorms or something – not so! This will dry towels, hoodies, sweatpants, and an armful of socks in about an hour. Ok, it takes a little longer than a full sized dryer, but not unreasonably so.

    There is an actual lint-trap that is easy to remove and clean. The tub can take a large armful of whatever you got. There is a setting for any assortment of laundry you might want to throw in. The alarm is easily noticeable singing that it’s done. The sensor will stop the cycle early if the clothes are dry before the timer is up – saving you energy and $.

    If you don’t quite have the room for a full sized unit, this is a more than satisfactory substitute for smaller spaces (closets, for example) Just be sure you have a 240 plug, as it will not work with a standard plug, and a vent to the outside like a normal-sized dryer. Worth the money!

    So far it’s working fine. Depending on the type of clothing, one does have to add a cycle. For jeans, if I put more than 2 pairs, I have to select “extra dry” and sometimes that doesn’t quite dry. But otherwise it’s good.

    Item arrived damaged. Had to return it. Third party arrived on top. They unboxed the dryer and it was severely damaged. We had them return the dryer. I am hoping for another delivery.

    I had high hopes for this dryer when we purchased it. We have always used GE washers and dryers and they have been top notch. Not this one. We’ve had GE service techs out 5 times to repair the dryer, after it started showing a “door” code and failing to start the drying cycle. The fixes so far have not been effective. While we can sometimes (when the phase of the moon and the stars is just right) get the machine to dry a small, single load of laundry, on days when we need to do multiple loads it gives us the “door” code and fails to dry anything beyond the first load. I really regret purchasing this machine and am seriously re-thinking whether I will purchase any GE appliances (or those manufactured in the same plants) again. We’re hoping for a warranty replacement or a refund (honestly, a refund would be preferable at this point). We’ll see what happens.

    Awesome Dryer. Read the manual to reprogram settings. I love I can start it and it will shut off when it knows clothes are dry. Have not had any issues at all

    We bought this dryer in 2022. It took a long time to come in and is extremely noisy. We should have looked up the reviews earlier, but we needed a dryer that would fit in our laundry room and allow us to close the door to that room.

    Beware -BestBuy is selling the same New Open Box items with pictures online multiple times and again from the store Floors scheduling a delivery and then delivering a completely different same model but instead deliver a beat up USED dryer picked up from a warehouse in Orlando 3 hours away after
    having rescheduled the delivery multiple times from a store 3 miles away with one delay story after another delay story that the dryer from the store floor 3 minutes away is in a warehouse, next in a warehouse 3 hours away, next they are trying to locate another open box dryer from another store, then it was damaged at the ware house, and then later ultimately delivering a completely different USED dryer with dents on both sides that will make noise. And then call back customer service who informs their hands are tied and offer no solutions other than go talk to the local Store that committed the Fraud in the first place and can’t comprehend you are reporting the local store for false advertisement and Fraud.
