I had a similar convection GE oven for 18 years. Cost back then $1320.00. This oven has many many reviews so this is my two cents: As previous reviewers stated for a cold start it takes around 25 minutes to reach 450 degrees. My old oven same interior size, took 17 minutes. The timer is as quite as a church mouse on high and the numerals on the clock need better spacing. There is a lag time after the oven preheats. They give you a +/- 35 degree setting you have to calibrate to get the right oven temp to line up with what the display says. So to get to say 400 degrees, you may have to adjust. You Should buy and oven thermometer and test it out to set it correctly at first.
This oven rates very high on the list of best ovens you can buy and has some nice features including WiFi. The disappearing controls are a nice touch. The black faceplate though is not black, it’s kinda grayish so it my not match your other black faceplate appliances.
Overall I bought this one because I knew it would fit into the space otherwise I might have bought something else.

1. make sure you have your measurement, spent more than $500 to make changes to my kitchen to fit this one and still not perfect and had had GE before
2. Takes too long to pre-heat, My previous GE was way faster

Just got this oven a few days ago and have only used it a few times. The first time this oven was preheated to 350 degrees, it took 15 minutes. I am happy to report that the preheat time is now 8 1/2 minutes. The food cooks evenly. I have not yet baked any goodies yet so can’t wait to see how that comes out. The oven is very attractive. I also like the racks. Very much an upgrade from my old GE profile oven. That oven lasted over 20 years so getting another GE product seemed like a no brainer.

I haven’t had the stove very long so I will post later however my first impression is not great due to the horrible rack with the track. The design is flawed and the entire track pulls out since the little lever that is supposed to flip out and hold against the side of the stove is not working properly. The track is so stiff (no ball bearings at all) that pulling on the rack pulls the entire track out. This is dangerous as it could lead to dumping your hot meal on your legs. GE actually charges over $300 for this rack/track. If they care about customer satisfaction they will respond to this review and offer me a rebate for the price of the rack and give me a plan rack with no track since I do not trust the design of the more expensive one.
I will post back after I use the over more and also after GE responds to me.

Needed an oven rather quickly & this one fit the bill 100%. Oven could only be 20 Amps, needed to be convection and also not completely reliant on technology. You tap the control panel & it lights up, so the controls are not permanently on display, which is nice.
I read reviews that complained about the noise when it turned off (this is literally the quietest oven I have ever owned). My previous KitchenAid was annoyingly loud. People also stated that the timer was too quiet, and again…not a problem for me. The aforementioned Kitchenaid had an annoyingly loud timer that drove me up the wall.
This oven is quiet, works well, has controls that are easy to understand

So far this oven has been great. The WiFi capability and app are a nice touch. It bakes a little hot, but that’s been an easy adjustment. Definitely recommend this oven, especially for the price compare to others.

The oven seems to work as it should which is the most important thing. The smart component is, in a word, terrible. After repeated attempts to connect the oven to wireless and the internet I called GE who provided absolutely no help. Most of the support call was me providing them with piles of information. The support person then told me he couldn’t solve the problem (after repeatedly telling me the problem must be on my end) and that second level support would contract me within 3-5 days. That was two weeks ago. The smart aspect isn’t critical but I’m sure I paid for it and would like it to work.
Incompetence –
Not installed properly because of a loose bolt and didn’t function at all. It took my own electrician to find the problem on June 7 and correct it. They told my condo office that it now works properly.

The extendable rack is the main problem with this stove. It’s dangerous because it will not hold in place on the back sides. I pulled out the extendable rack and the back side bracket that are supposed to keep the rack from falling out slides right past so the entire rack falls out with the pan and all its ingredients going everywhere. I’d rather have more of the fixed racks than an extendable on that is dangerous.

I’m still trying to get it to work correctly. The convection fan in the back of the oven doesn’t turn on and the temp never reaches what it should be even after adjusting for the convention auto adjustment.
Temperature reached at setting 350:. for baking is very inconsistent between the front and back of the oven. About 30 degrees difference last checked.
Broiler seems to cause a funny odored “smoke” . Maybe this needs to burn off? Don’ know. I need to contact Best Buy to come out and check it all over. Will do soon.

Haven’t really had a chance to see what all the features can do but so far it seems like it is going to be a very good oven. It replaces a 17-year-old GE oven that we had. Can’t say the installation was smooth we had to modify the wall opening just a bit so GEs claim that it slides right in and slides right out apparently depends on the original installation other than that hopefully it will last as long as the other one

This is an excellant oven. The size is better that some 30″ ovens and the window is very big making it easy to see how the food is progressing. Th eracks are easy to change from one posotion to another unlike my previous oven.

Recently installed this oven. I was surprised to find it did not come with a broiler pan. Every oven I have ever owned has had one. Have only used the oven a few times at this point and only on bake but it seems to operate as it should. I do like the pull out rack, it makes lifting heavy casseroles much easier. it does have a nice sleek appearance and you only see the controls when you touch the screen,
