    Plenty of juice to run about anything you could need in the car. I even ran an electric heating pad for my daughter when her stomach was hurting. I use mainly to charge drill batteries, faster phone charging and charge my laptop on the go. If I needed to I could even bring along my printer if I needed to print documents on the go.

    It’s working great, I’ve pulled all 500 Watts out of it for over an hour and it works. It’s noticeably less money than similar ones, from an established brand and I’m very happy with it.

    I was planning to use this in my Jeep to power a laptop computer. I travel a good bit and this would be a good source of power.

    It worked maybe 15 minutes. Then it started to beep an alarm as if it was overloaded….when it wasn’t. I could turn it off and back on, and it would charge for a few minutes then alarm again. So I returned it.

    If you connect this directly to a car battery this unit works well.
    However…when operating on cigarette lighter it would not power my MacBook ProSpecs say it should…it didn’t.
    The cooling fan is very noisy.

    Bought this to replace an old 400W. Plugged in and it fired up and has been running great with no issues. Has a power switch to power it on and off without having to unplug it, which is nice.

    Very simple and reliable. Works like a charm. However I’m not sure if the plug itself is too long or my outlet is too short. The connection is very prone to fall out if touched

    Worked first time every time. Used it in an RV conversion for several different appliances with one car battery as the power source. Worked well with one appliance or lights and charging a phone or other accessory. Our power source depleted quickly and needs to upgrade. Inverter is a good product needing a better power source than I used.

    this design needs work. I’ve had it installed for 1 week and although the connections in the back are secure every time I hit a bump or touch the unit it gives this annoying horrible beep. it does the same on start up and shutdown.. In it’s defense it does charge fast but the drawbacks just don’t make it worth it. Returning this one and getting something better (I hope)

    I bought this to run a laptop that draws around 160W. While running the laptop, starting the vehicle makes the voltage drop (obviously) and the inverter beeps continuously (even after the vehicle is running). If you disconnect whatever you have plugged in (or turn the inverter off) before starting the vehicle, it avoids this. It would be nice to have a “self-healing” feature. I plan to buy the remote for this so I can tuck it away behind the dash in my truck.

    As sad as I am in the quality of this product, I’m even sadder by little concern over our hard earned money when buying defective products. They gave me 14 days to return this item and I didn’t try to use it for a month as soon as I open the box I could smell burnt electronics

    Best buys customer service for return treated me as if I was disposable. The 20 year old manager treated me like I was child, ripped the opened box while I inspecting it. Did not except my return because “it is after Christmas and we are being strict with returns”. The manager on the customer service line never called me back. Why would I ever buy something from Best buy again.
