I got the Bose TV Speaker first and tryed it at home. The TV Speaker is just and enhacement for the television speakers. That’s it. No more than that. Good for dialogues and sound in general. HOWEVER, if your are looking for a soundbar for inmersive sound, including movies AND music, this js the bar! No complains or concerns at all. I am using it without the subwoofer (additional accesory) and the bass is great. Really good bar!

The agent was very efficient …overall it was a great experience. Once I brought it home I was able to set it up and have it operating within 30 minutes. The directions are simple and easy and very understandable.

I truly wish I had a better review to share with you. Ive been a loyal Bose consumer for over 20 yrs. Every device in my home from a soundbar, to portable units, ear bugs, headphones, speakers for my computer are Bose. Ive NEVER been so dissatisfied with a purchase, than I was with this combination Bose soundbar and Bass module. Everyone asked me the size of my room, type of flooring Ive, did I calibrate the system etc.. there is no reason other than it was substandard to any other Bose product Ive ever purchased. I spoke to the best buy rep and they suggested possibly a defective unit. These were purchased brand new, not open box so i couldnt really say. I went through 3 different soundbars/speakers/bass modules and have now settled on a JBL soundbar/bass module and am super impressed with this purchase. The price was less than what I spent on either of the Bose or Samsung systems and the combo came together. Finally, im satisfied!! I hope this helps you with your future purchase.

Bought the Bose Sound bar TV speaker first and wouldn’t stay connected so I returned it and upgraded to the 600 model which was way better but pretty steep on price.
So far I’ve had zero issues with it and seems to do its job.

Bought this sound bar in December, and have had issues with it ever since. The sound goes off for a period of time. At one time you could change the channel and go back and it’s back on. Now, it goes off and on, but doesn’t always come back on. Right now it’s been off for 40 minutes. The first time we called Bose, they did troubleshoot, but no help. We missed the return day to Best Buy by 2 weeks. Bose finally said they could try to repair, but no assurance at this time on how long it might take. It’s just a shame that you spend nearly $500 for the name Bose, and it takes this long to try to get the problem resolved… which has not been resolved as of yet.

The sound quality of this speaker is excellent but I’m surprised Bose dropped the ball on other areas of product design. These issues are so incredibly silly, have nothing to do with the audio quality, but completely ruins the experience.
1) The controller… An awfully cheap plastic little nugget. Really snaps you back to reality that this isn’t a high quality device.
2) The app.. it’s just not good. Fails to connect often and has very few options. My setup was a pain due to this.
3) The ANNOYING system sounds with NO option to customize or turn them off. The ‘bluetooth connect confirmation noise’ is so frustratingly god awful and loud. No matter what volume the speaker is set to, this sound will blast at full volume if any device connects to it. So if you have PCs or computers or ipads that randomly like to connect to it in the middle of the night after they update, be prepared for an unpleasant surprise. Bose, please just use the built in blue light indicator to tell me it’s connected to a device. I don’t need my eardrums blasted by this ‘chime’.
