    We bought the Bosch because our daughter has one that is a year or two old and it cleans beautifully. We learned, however, that Bosch has made significant changes, apparently, since she bought hers.

    This is a great dishwasher when it comes to getting the dishes clean and it is very quiet, so why the one star rating? I gave it only one star for several reasons.

    1. This dishwasher is narrower than our old one and most other dishwashers on the market. When it was installed, there was a noticeable and ugly gap between it and the cabinets. The main part of the dishwasher is narrower than the top panel with the controls and even it was narrower than other dishwashers which exaggerated the gap of the rest of the dishwasher with the cabinets and made it look even uglier. (I went to Best Buy and measured the different dishwasher brands after the install.)
    2. The interior of the dishwasher is smaller than any standard dishwasher we’ve ever owned.
    3. Perhaps the most annoying thing about the Bosch, is the tines are angled, not straight which is a huge challenge when loading dishes, bowls, the coffee pot or any even somewhat larger item. In addition, the tines are very close together making it impossible to load even a small lid for a very small Corning Ware bowl. We used to have stoneware dishes. I sincerely doubt they would fit inside the tines, the space is that narrow. As if that wasn’t enough of a challenge, they have different sections where the tines run in opposite directions, i.e. at a right angle to the other section making loading plates and, especially, other items even more impossible than the narrow tines make it already.
    Conclusion. If you currently use most, or all of the space in your dishwasher to run a load, plan on having to do two loads, not one, to get your dishes done.
    It’s a shame Bosch designed this machine so poorly and made it smaller on the interior and exterior than all other standard size dishwashers as it does a great job of cleaning. For these reasons, I cannot recommend the Bosch.
    We replaced the Bosch with a KitchenAid with the third rack on top. I am happy to report that the KitchenAid cleans just as well as the Bosch, is just as quiet as the Bosch, fits the space just like other dishwashers without an ugly, large gap and has a very, very large interior and is extremely easy to load and handles large objects and/or odd-shaped dishes very well.

    We LOVE this dishwasher !!! It’s so quiet I have to check to make sure I turned it on…LOL. Dishes are always clean and shinny after each wash. Highly recommend this dishwasher for small families.

    The dishwasher works really well, gets everything pretty clean, and there are plenty of cycle options. I just dislike the racks that it came with, I’ll probably get different ones; the orientation of the pegs on the racks make loading the dishes a bit cumbersome compared to other dishwashers I’ve used. The dishes don’t seem to want to fit in the racks very easily, or without bonking into each other.

    I love this Bosch dishwasher. The old one was so loud when it ran, we only would run the thing during 9-5 pm so we wouldn’t disturb the neighbors. Now, we can’t even tell if it’s running because it’s so quiet. The capacity holds so many dishes and pots. It looks so beautiful in our kitchen. I’m in love.

    Best Buy provided an easy way to purchase and deliver. The delivery person did deliver but did not unbox the item. Make sure delivery unbox to make sure the dishwasher is undamaged. Only after asking, and he had an issue unboxing. I was not happy about it. Best Buy had a good sale, good item and delivery included. Dishwasher works very well… so far.

    I have nothing good to say about this Bosch Dishwasher. After my 2nd Kitchen Aid broke, I gave this one a try. It was rated high by Consumer Reports. I returned it for various reasons. The inside is so small and made of cheap plastic. The racks were easily moved about. The two utensil holders were not able to be fastened in place. There was no rinse cycle which is big with me. It was not quiet. The cleaning was poor. The drying was poor. I actually didn’t have it for 2 days and I knew it was going back. I never return appliances but there is always a first for everything. I went back to a Kitchen Aid, high end model and happier than ever! Best Buy was more than professional and accomodating when it came to making the return and drop off the new one.

    It was delivered BROKEN, and didnt noticed until after it was installed the next day, they said they would replace it, and now they want to charge me to have the broken one removed and the new one installed after i have already payed someone to do it, i was promised they would do a free install then a supervisor named Joy was super rude and of no help and pretty much said they wouldnt do the free install, VERY DISSAPOINTED, and will NOT buy any more appliences from best buy!

    This is our 2nd Bosch Dishwasher. Our decision was easy when quality, durability, price and outstanding operating characteristics are taken into consideration. Hands down, it’s quiet, provides “Clean” and spotless dishes and is very durable. If people only consider or concern themselves with bottom line, then I’s say make certain you evaluate “everything” from operating costs, maintenance, durability, price, warranty and everything that you would probably have to pay for because you will not have to with this machine. This is the absolute best value, dollar for dollar, on the market today for this caliber of machine.

    I love this dishwasher! The first couple of times I used it my dishes were SOAKED! After reading the instructions, using rinse aid AND adjusting the settings for the rinse aid my dishes come out absolutely DRY!!! So far I’ve used the Speed60 cycle, as the instructions specify it includes drying. I will continue to explore the other cycles but so far I love it!!! Its definitely quieter than my previous dishwasher but I can still hear it. Dont overspend on a bosche this one is great.

    I love that the buttons and screen face out so you don’t accidentally start washes and such. Door seals nicely. I love that Best Buy included the wire adapter for easy installation. Machine seems to run smooth and quiet.

    I purchased this dishwasher to replace a 3 year old Whirlpool dishwasher that stopped working properly. I use my dishwasher daily so I could not be without one. I did not want too many bells and whistles but wanted a short cycle option. This fit the bill. I did not see the dishwasher in the store but I had Bosch dishwashers before so I did not hessitate. Dishwasher is working as expected and I am happy.

    We’ve having this new dishwasher for a month and so far it works as advertised. The only one complaint I have is the utensils are not fully dried even after it is done and waited for several minutes. I read about this on some other reviews. Other than that, I’m satisfied with Bosch.

    Bottom rack is very low. Not user friendly for people with back trouble. Prongs separating the dishes are too close together making loading hard. Utensil basket is very flimsy. Miss the third/upper shelf. I chose it without seeing it in a store- not a good idea.

    When it wokrs it works great. Its been broken for the bulk of the time I have owned it. Boschs customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Its on its third heat pump in as many moths. The 20 year old dishwasher it replaced would have been better to keep nursing along.
