Very comfortable. Is definitely built for larger people as the head rest/ pillow are a bit high. Nice build quality. Assembly was pretty simple with well documented instructions and tools.

Probably the most comfortable synthetic leather chair I’ve sat in so far for gaming. Plenty of features and adjustments to fit all comfort levels. Extremely sturdy and sleek looking. Easy to assemble with very few parts to deal with. Owned this chair for over a month and can honestly say that I have not had one negative thing to say about it. Suits my gaming needs regardless if it’s for 1 hour or 5 hour sessions. Highly recommended to those looking to upgrade their existing chair, or those that are not happy with what they already have. Purchased mine while at PAX WEST in Seattle, WA. Sat and tested every model chair they had there. For the price and quality this one fit my needs perfectly. Shipped to my door on the east coast free of charge, and only took a week from the date of purchase! 5 stars !!!

Bought this on sale and it was great purchase in anticipation of working from home. The chair is solid, The arm and back adjustments are great as is the chair height since I’m on the tall side (6′ 4″). It feels like it’s built to last.
Pros:
Easy to assemble
Sturdy
Multiple adjustments
Great for tall people
Cons:
Minimal instructions
Wish the seat depth was a little deeper

I’m really happy with my new chair. One thing I liked is that I had a choice on whether to use the armrests, as I find they get in my way. I also chose not to use the add-on lumbar support and head pillow. The seat is a bit firm, but may soften a bit over time. My only complaint in assembling it was that it was very difficult to attach the back to the seat – I had to put it on it on its side and struggle to get the bolts to line up and screw in. The rest was easy.

Nice quality chair. Comfortable and firm. Excellent to work or gaming

No joke, this chair cleared up back spasms and neck pain within the first week of use. Extremely comfortable and sturdy. Love the 5/10 warranties. I use this for work 8 hrs/day and then after hours for console gaming and it’s fantastic. Worth the money for sure. It may be the most comfy chair I’ve ever sat in.

Im 6’5″ and this chair works great for taller people. For the money it’s practically a steal. Buy without hesitation!

I had to make a few adjustments to make this chair comfy. I had to remove the additional headrest and the back support piece. Now I can sit in it and work all day comfortably at my home office.
Wettwett –
I bought it while on sale and have used it for 6 months, it’s great for hours of playing games
Timias –
Comfortable well made chair -Mostly. Two things I dislike about it are: the lumbar back support falls to the bottom of the chair whenever not being sat in, and the arm rests pivot with very little force. They are supposed to pivot, but they do it so easily that it gets annoying.
Pamela –
I liked the chair because it was sturdy and well constructed. I have upper back problems and the chair’s upper design seemed to make it worse.

I’ve had this chair for about 6 months, and one day while leaning on the armrest, the swivel broke. Now, putting any weight on that armrest makes it slide out from under my arm. I’m 5’8″ and weigh 215 pounds. I tried contacting AKRacing for a replacement armrest for months, and after asking me the same questions repeatedly and having me supply numerous photos, they stopped responding altogether and closed my ticket. I’ve opened a second one, and haven’t received a response since it was opened a week ago.
The chair is also designed so I can’t unscrew the armrest myself to try and fix it. Maybe, I will superglue it into a stable position out of anger and desperation. It would have been a better idea to get a chair that doesn’t have adjustable armrests, but now I’m stuck with this one that I paid too much for.

Very comfortable. Nice and sturdy. Assembly instructions could have been clearer.

This is my office chair and I love it. I have one for home and work and I Will stick with this brand.

Amazing chair!
I had the Homall S-Racer prior to this one. This is night and day difference from that one. This was extremely easy to put together, in that Akracing had the arms already assembled and most of the other items were just attaching the wheels and a few screws to attach the legs to the seat and the back to the seat and then done.
I sit for most of the day and I do not have any aches after sitting in this chair working.
I love the fact that the arms come up and down and that they can turn in and out as well. The whole 3d or 4d approach with the arms is awesome!
The headrest did not work for me. a little aggrevating but not enough to warrant a less star. I just took it off. :-D…
Great chair, especially if you are a larger guy!
ppjonez24 –
Comfortable and big. I like the extra space, definitely could be used for larger people.

Its very comfortable and stylish.
The only issue is its big size. Its technically designed for taller that 5″ 10.
ft9a –
Great. Very Comfortable. It is adjustable & feels well built. It might for slightly taller people, I am 6 foot 1, but the height is a little tall maybe for people 6 foot 3, or 4. A lot of room, if you are bigger person.

As someone who’s used to Herman Miller Aerons I found the chair to not live up to my standards. My main issue was getting sweaty/too hot and just not being able to be comfortably sit in the chair for more than 30 minutes. For $350ish it’s a decent deal but I’d personally look for a used Herman Miller instead.
Lasergod –
Nice sturdy gaming chair with all the adjustable options. Lumbar support is a little bulky and I don’t use it but the headrest is great.
JHOld –
Takes two to put togather. Look for video on website. It is tough to buy chairs by mail, but look first at AK size chart on web. This chair has seat springs I think. If you are in 150lb. range It is FIRM. for $400 price, O.K. not $500. list.
BabuSF –
Good part:
Well built and looks nice.
Bad part:
1. I’m 5’8” not a very short guy. Minimum seating height is so high, my feet hangs in the air and causes pain.
2. This chair caused so much upper back issues within 2 days stopped using and threw the boxes so couldn’t return. Waste of $500.

I’m 6’2″ 280lb dude and I’m comfortable in it. It’s exactly as described, no surprises either way. The lumbar pillow doesn’t work for me on this chair, but I moved it to another chair I still use and it does provide nice support.

I’m 6’3″ and weigh 185lbs and have been advised by my physical therapist to get a new chair because this chair is causing me lower back/hamstring pain.
It feels really sturdy and well-built, but after extended use it takes a toll on the body – I’m not sure if this is a result of how firm/sturdy it is or what.
GeorgeT –
Nice chair good support well made lets see how long it last

If you spend hours in front of a computer or just want a quality chair this thing is excellent.
