I bought this chair for my husband. Since working from home during the COVID pandemic, he couldn’t find a comfortable chair. This chair fits his needs and it’s not bulky like some of the other chairs out there. Overall he is comfortable sitting in this chair all day.

This chair replaced an older office chair and it was one of the best purchases I’ve made. It is very sturdy between the metal framing to the base, the added cushioning and overall feel of it. The ability to recline, adjust the arm night & position is also a plus. Overall very comfortable chair.

It broke just over a year after we bought it. Like, catastrophically broke. The metal holding the chair to the base snapped in two.

I’m 6’5″ and weigh about 275lbs and thought this chair would be a great fit for me, and I was right. Solid build, great adjustments from arm rests to back rest to height, everything I would want from a chair.
The head/neck pillow and the lumbar pillow are great accessories as well. I use the head/neck pillow all the time when I start to get a little drowsy I’ll just tilt back a bit and the pillow holds my head nicely in place and take a nice power nap.
I’ve had this chair for just over 2 years now and the back rest frame started bending/breaking on me near the attachment point on the right side. It took about a month before I really started to actually notice it and then it gave quite a bit. I went to AKRacing’s website and filled out their Warranty Claim Form and submitted it on Sunday December 25th, 2022. Two days later I got a reply (totally acceptable since most places had Monday off as the observed Christmas day off) asking for a copy of the receipt, photos of the damage, a shipping address, and my phone number. Replied back to that email with all the info and got a reply back from them within a few hours.
They said they would be sending be a replacement backrest, but it was on back order by about 2-3 weeks. The replacement showed up on January 14th, 2023 and the chair is like new again. So right in the middle of that 2-3 week window I was told. I am very satisfied with this chair and was really satisfied by their customer service and how quick and easy it was for me to get parts replaced under warranty.

The reason I am giving this a 3 instead of a 5 is because once assembled a random plastic piece fell out of the seat area and I have yet to determine what it goes to or where it truly came from, but you can tell that the piece had broken off of something.

I bought this with intent to do streaming. It has plenty of space to fit my large frame. It’s the first chair i can completely sit back in and have support for my thighs as well as room on each side.

had this chair for 4 years. shows some wear on the arm rests, and on the back rest and front where it says max. i only have had a few minor problems where i thought the chair broke, but i got to looking at it and the only problems were from bolts coming loose. at the time of writing this review, i just got done tightening the bolts that came loose that holds the back on the chair. right side came out, left side was still solid and tight. this chair is a solid buy, i suggest buying it.
