Admittedly, I am not a tech snob, but the reviews I read prior to purchasing said this was a great value. I have been very pleased with the monitor. Setup was easy and the picture is great. Only problem was the “comes with” section was a bit confusing, as I have a Surface laptop and the packaging says it does come with a mini Display Port connection, when in fact it does not. I needed to purchase separately.

Best Buy got it to me in 2 days with regular shipping. It was easy to set up. I have it connected to my Surface Pro via a Surface Dock. The stand for it was high quality. It’s easy to tilt and swivel the screen. I love all the USB ports. It can also be programmed to reduce the blue light in the evenings. I kind of wish Best Buy had the 2K version of the monitor in stock when I bought this.
The only bad thing is… I don’t know why ViewSonic included the speakers though. They seem pretty pointless.

Purchased this display to run a dual monitor set up that is vertical via an actual mount that is screwed in to the back housing. It is a great display for that purpose as it is not overly bulky/feels secure when mounted above the other all in one.
