Great rpg game! Love the trails game series and the story with rich lore in the games.

I have played this game before on the Japanese PSP. It is not really related to any of the Trails/Legend of Heroes games besides the name of the company which made the game, Falcom. There is a possibility that somehow Falcom decides to make a game that would connect the main character, Nayuta Herschel, might be an ancestor Towa Herschel from Cold Steel series, but unless that game happens, the connection between the two characters is vaguely implied by the same last name. The PSP version of the game was great and the remake on the Switch is even better. I can easily recommend this game to anyone who likes platforming and action RPGs unless those genres are not their cup of tea.

An action JRPG with a simple story and fun gameplay. It was originally a PSP title so don’t expect amazing graphics but it still looks nice. Overall a good, comfy title if you’re into the genre.

This game was originally released for the PlayStation Portable, and so it feels right at home on the Switch. The frame rate is steady and the game looks beautiful in both handheld and docked mode. As per usual, Falcom delivers with an excellent story and soundtrack, and the game itself is very fun. It’s an action RPG similar to other Falcom games like Ys and Zwei and its story isn’t connected to the rest of the Trails series, so people who don’t like turn based RPGs or haven’t gotten into the Trails series yet will have no issue playing this game.

Fun but not too simple action jrpg. I played it for hours when I first got it. You better buy it quick for Nintendo switch before retailers no longer stock it and you have to buy it from eBay for twice the price.
