What can I say about this game that hasn’t already been said? It’s the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles side-scrolling beat ’em up reimagined, and Konami couldn’t have done a better job themselves. You get 6 characters at start (the 4 turtles, April, and Splinter) and one secret one after you beat the game (Casey). The gameplay, animations, and soundtrack are all superb…and the addition of super moves/team attacks feel like a natural evolution for the franchise. That said, this is still based on an arcade game design…so know that you’ll be able to blaze through everything there is to see within a few hours or less. If you love classic arcade games though, this one should be right up your alley…and the Switch gives you it on the go. The included artbook and stickers are icing on the cake.

This game is great for couch co-op with friends/ family. You can play up to 4 players on one screen which is something not many games offer now a days.

Phenomenal game! Highly addictive! I’m an 90’s kid and this games gives all the nostalgia feels from the turtles mania during that era! This game is great for kids, but if you are an adult and a kid at heart, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Very easy to play for any young novice gamers. My 3 boys ranging from 8, 6, & 3y/o all play the game!!

This game is literally for everyone that is a turtles fan. I’ve played this with my nephews and their dad. The look gjves you the arcade game feel but there are new combos and controls. Even special attacks and ways to help each other. 4 player max. If you want to play 6 you need a 2nd switch or online play.

Such a fun throwback for adults, but totally approachable for kids. The fighting moves have depth for more experienced gamers, but kids can easily have fun just mashing buttons. Lots of humorous details that feel very on-brand for the Turtles. A little on the short side, but with a focus on replayability so the dollar value is decent.
Also comes with stickers and a sweet little art booklet that kids will love.
