    These games are always fun, the characters talk in English, which makes the game even better, the battles are fun, but the only downside it is only 1 player, I miss the 4 player battles, I highly recommend this game.

    Really LOVE this game!! It has a great story and gameplay is superb! Graphics is pretty good too. I love the character design and pace of the story. HIGHLY recommended!

    Bought this game back in February but I didn’t started on it until about a month ago and I must say…out of all the Tales games I’ve played (Symphonia, Vesperia, Zestiria, Berseria, currently playing through Abyss), this one is perhaps the best I’ve ever played. Finished it after 70+ hours and I do plan to play through the post game content at some point afterwards. The game is a must have for fans of the Tales of games.

    It is literally feels like a PlayStation 2 game. The graphics are awful and the whole gameplay is just so PlayStation 2.

    A really fun JRPG if you are into the genre. I loved the JRPG genre in the 90’s on the SNES and PS1, so this game was pretty fun for me. Only thing is the game is very very very Anime, meaning the English dialogue sounds pretty melodramatic and cheesy. The combat system is very fun, and all the characters play different. Story overall was decent, and there’s lots of stuff to do.

    I’m a big fan of “Tales” games and this one might be my favorite yet. Awesome combat with a great story to match.

    I started to play through this game recently and I’m already far in the story. Love the graphics and play style in this series! I only played Tales of Abyss and watched few other Tales game videos so I figured of getting this when it was on sale.

    Really amazed at the changes they did with exploration and battle system. What I love is the fact you can switch characters in open world and fight scenes in this. It took me awhile to get used to it since some fights need a bit of strategy depending on the boss/enemies you’re dealing with. I absolutely enjoyed the interaction between Alphen and his companions as well, getting to bond with them through camping and cooking too.

    I’d say this awesome game was worth purchasing.

    Great addition to the Tales series. The game felt like it get a little under the radar with it’s lack of promotional advertisement but still the gameplay and story make it a worthy purchase for any fan of the series. Also a nice bonus is if you couldn’t get the PS5 version the PS4 version is given an upgrade to the mentioned PS5 version if you wish to do so. So definitely get the game before it’s too late.

    Titles says it all. I’d always heard great things about the Tales series, but I had never taken the time to play one personally. As soon as I played the demo for this one, I was sold…and that was only scratching the surface of how wonderful an experience this game would end up being. The characters have immense depth, the voice acting is phenomenal, and the story takes so many twists that you never know exactly where it’s going to end up. I myself own the Xbox version, this was actually a gift for a friend because I loved it so much that I wanted more people to experience it. Cannot recommend it enough!

    (Still loathe the fishing though lol)

    This game has been a blast. Great graphics and gameplay. In my personal opinion the story is so so and mostly forgettable. As a completionist, the time spent trying to accomplish all quests before progressing the main story felt underwhelming. To clarify, even completing all side quests, there is a fair amount of grinding needed to progress the main story. Not a terriblegame flaw, just an observation that the difficulty is steep, and to the grind you will go.

    Bandai Namco’s Tales team decided to go in a different direction with the seriew and they delivered. A high production action RPG with an amazing battle system and cutscene. I’ll miss some old things that were in previous games, but the positives in this title outweight. I look forward to seeing what the team does next for the series.
