    The staff who had handled the situation starting from the seller up to the customer service was impeccable.

    The one who blew up and makes the experience worse were the shipper whom Best Buy had entrusted the shipment was horrible. AI customer service were you cannot even speak with live person and the fact was that the shipment was lost for the past 3 weeks. Never ever trust “On-Trac” shipping company.

    Result: Poor customer service and shipment lost.

    I like the soundbar, but there are some instances where the soundbar does disconnect from the Sony TV, and not sure why. When it is working, the soundbar does provide great surround sound features.

    This sound bar is a huge step up over my tv speakers. I really enjoy the night modes and voice modes for the times where I want to tone things down a little.

    I’m not sure if i like this sound bar or not. I still have a hard time understanding audio on a lot of movies and shows. I was told this sound bar would separate background music from conversation in movies but i dont think that is happening.

    Sound quality is very good. Connected to TV via ARC3 port which works well for automated switching. Downside is have to go to high volume levels on the soundbar when watching TV – not sure why. If you want to watch sports with the TV muted, while also streaming music to the soundbar via Bluetooth, the process is a little clunky, but works.

    Seamless integration with my BRAVIA XR A75L OLED. Using both in our bedroom. Image is great and the sound bar gives us extra depth of sound for movies, etc. Good decision.

    Fantastic 3.1 Atmos system with just one minor flaw. I always like a soundbar with a LED display, but it’s display is way too small to be very useful. I can’t read the numbers as you increase or decrease the volume from our bed. You would think since I have it paired to a Sony 4K TV (X80) it would at least display the increase or decrease in volume on the screen, but no such luck. We’re using it with our bedroom TV and it’s more than adequate to fill our large bedroom with booming sound. Very good bass, better than our Bose 600 soundbar with wireless Bass Unit. We bought it on sale, and it does go on sale fairly often, so wait for a good deal. If you’re a Sony TV owner, it’s especially a no brainer purchase.

    This sound bar has amazing sound and adds to the experience of these Sony TV I feel like I am in the movie theater. The sound is impeccable and I would recommend that you bundle and get the subwoofer with this and save $500.

    So far so good. Setup was easy. It is not mounted I have it on my tv stand below the tv l. It is connected via Bluetooth and the sound quality is awesome. It can also be connected via hdmi cable. I’m not sure if there is a difference in sound but it sound great via Bluetooth.

    I needed to replace an old Onkyo all-in-one soundbar and needed something that would fit a small (36”) TV stand that would also be able to handle TV, movies and music equally well. After looking at several Samsung options in hopes of pairing it with my 43” TV, I decided to give this model a shot. I’m very happy I did as the bass is just right (it’s not going to compare to a full system with a separate subwoofer, but its solid), vocals are clear and the sound modes work well. For $299.99 before tax, I am very happy with my purchase.

    This little guy made a huge difference! I set this up for a non technically inclined familiar member and it was pretty straight forward since the TV we were using it on had an arc connection. An arc connection makes it a breeze IMO because you can use your existing cable remote or television remote instead of having to always reach for an additional remote for volume, power, etc. This soundbar also has an optical connection you can use if you do not have an arc HDMI connection on your television.

    Before setting this up the sound from the Samsung TV was very tinny and the speakers on the TV were pretty much blown out from years of use and the bass especially was very irritating.

    At first after setting it up I was worried because it didn’t sound good, but in addition to setting up the exterior speaker on the Samsung’s sound menu I actually had to also hit the “reset sound” option because for some reason it sounded bad before that. Once I luckily figured that out we were off to the running and the thing sounds great. It’s a huge improvement not just in sound quality but also with nice bass and most importantly a vastly improved voice performance as this sound bar was developed with a an extra center channel specifically for voice enhancement.

    Music sounds great and the voice is extremely clear and it really fills up a larger size room. We didn’t opt to get the additional subwoofer at this point in time since we have the bass level to 3 (Max level on this device) and like mentioned above it packs enough punch.

    I was able to purchase this on a great Best Buy promotion that was taking 200 dollars off but even at full price it’s a quality item from a quality brand that you could trust. I prefer Sony over most of these newer brands since I have never had issues with their products.

    So to reiterate, this soundbar is an extremely excellent addition to your viewing experience and I’m even thinking of purchasing another for a different TV and maybe the wireless subwoofer as well.

    Also one last thing, the soundbar feels like quality too, heavy and and built nicely. It has a Led notification description on the front. It comes with an HDMI cable to connect to your Arc HDMI port. It does not come with an optical cable if you need that for your setup you will have to purchase it separately.

    Bought this soundbar expecting it to at least help with dialogue. It helped a kittle but the sound was so dull. Compared to the vizio all in one i was using, this is double the price and half as good. I dont recommend

    I kept my JBL bar 5.0 multibeam. I was expecting more from Sony. I had experience with their previous soundbar models and they’re very good. I must also have a faulty unit cause the audio will cutoff for a second or two more often. The sound can get loud but there’s no convincing immersion or audio separation or even faux height FX. I have a smart TV with the latest EARC port, paired with a certified HDMI 2.1 cable connected to both the TV and the Sony soundbar. I’ve used the app and made sure the vertical FX are on while listening to an Atmos content and was disappointed. I returned the unit immediately…

    This is a great little sound bar for the price. I did get it on sale and I would suggest waiting for that because I’m not sure it’s worth full price. However, for 350 it is fantastic. Really improved the sound of my Sony TV and it’s super easy to use.

    Soinds great for a small unit. Like to add rear speakers that are Bluetooth which makes fo not cable routing. Like to add a Subwoofer at some point as well. Also this thing hooked right up no messing with settings using the HDMI ARC port.

    I bought this back in October 2023 and it’s an amazing sound bar It’s great for watching movies or listening to music. it has a good amount of bass even without a dedicated subwoofer. Also, Dolby atmos is great for watching movies. It’s a good bang for your buck and another great audio product from Sony!!

    Coming from a 10 year old Sony sound base, I thought there would be some improvements over the last 10 years. I was completely wrong. The price is way to high for what you get.

    Only one sound field where the 10 year old unit had 8. No bass or treble controls on this unit. You need to turn the sound bar up to 50-60 to get real volume out of it. The remote is joke. The display is super small and can hardly be seen.
