    Just finished playing Pokémon Violet and wow, it’s awesome! The open-world is a game-changer, you can literally go anywhere and find cool new and classic Pokémon. The graphics are super vivid and the environments are really diverse, which makes exploring so much fun. Battles are way more dynamic now, especially with the ‘Let’s Go’ feature for quick action. The storyline keeps you hooked with some neat twists and the characters are interesting. Plus, playing with friends in co-op mode is a blast. Seriously, whether you’re new to Pokémon or a longtime fan, you’re gonna love this game. Highly recommend!

    Its a great video game. The gameplay loop is very fun and battling feels pretty decent but thats about all it has going for it.

    The world is okay. The story is bad until you reach the end, then it becomes okay. Graphics and performance are unacceptable.

    If you are looking for just a pokemon game where you see and catch cool new pokemon in a vast open world, this game is good at that. If you’re looking for ANYTHING else out of it… well sorry… its not very good.

    The physical I got was in incredible condition (in case that matters to you)

    excellent service from best buy but as dar as the game goes… I like it however due to the switches hardware the game can stutter in handheld mode note ably during times of high pokemon traffic

    I’ve been playing Pokémon since Red/Blue as a kid. I’ve played all of them except for Sun/moon. I always enjoy them. If you’ve played a pokemon game you know what you’re going to get. It’s nothing substantial new but there are some improvements and the story is good. I think it’s as good as sword and shield. My favorite was silver/gold because of getting to play both maps.

    Bought this for my daughter after she really loved pokemon shield. She likes it for thr more open world feel. There are some moxed reviews online based on the changes they made but its still a good game.

    Gamefreak had a good run of making fantastic Pokémon games but it’s time to let it go. The performance is absolutely horrendous and till this day, we have not received a patch for it.

    Pokemon Violet is the only Pokemon game that I was very late in buying because it was so different, in my opinion, from other games. The graphics weren’t that great to me, even though Legends had come out earlier. To me, the games weren’t on par at all, and the ‘legendary’ pokemon just didn’t appeal to me either, what with it being a glorified bike. The concept of the game just wasn’t great to me, and just seemed like a gimmick similar to Mega Evolution. It was an okay game to play for me, but my experience is not the same for others. I ordered it, it came in good condition from Best Buy, and earlier than expected too. All in all, this game is good for casual players but no where near the worth of the hype for me.

    Love the open world concept that they had from Arceus, and even more so more freedom in how the story rolls out. You’re free to go anywhere in the game from the get go. Hoping they continue this trend maybe up the difficulty.

    Not a good entry from Nintendo. While Nintendo took a step in the right direction with this open world technology. This is ultimately a very weak link in the pokemon series
