    I actually had to disable my nord vpn in order to post this. It works great ran into issues accessing a few sites such as best buy, and usps. Best buy please fix this so we can shop securely on your site. It’s ironic that you sell software you’re blocking.

    I can’t really tell if it is working to keep me safer. However, it will not let me visit certain benign sites, and I have to turn it off to visit my usual sites. Therefore, it must be doing something. It also slows down my browsing slightly.

    I got this to use mainly when traveling so when I connect to unknown WiFi networks I can have, hopefully, a more secure connection. I have it both on my Android phone and a couple Windows laptops. It really is super easy to connect/disconnect and it doesn’t seem to cause any problems or pop-ups when I’m not using it (like at home or work).

    This is my first try at a VPN and the sale at BB was a great way to get started with NordVPN. So far I have installed and used it on an old Windows 7, a iPad mini 4, and an iPad Pro. Can’t tell its there except for the icon at the top… an small NordVPN icon for Android and a VPN box for iPads. It was to select a server in my city, which was my preference.

    Best Buy should not be selling this product without huge red flag warnings. If you buy it from Best Buy, and are not satisfied with it, you cannot return it for a refund. The manufacturer will not refund your money unless you buy it directly from them. They have a 30-day return policy, but the fine print says this does not apply if you but it from a reseller, such as Best Buy. If you decide to try it in spite of these comments, be sure to set a restore point before installing it. It makes changes to your system that will haunt you even after you uninstall it. My printer/scanner will not stay connected to my network. It changed audio controls on another device. You will probably experience a major loss of speed.

    Most VPN’s seem to be owned now by antivirus companies such as McAfee and/or acquired through 3rd parties, as some of the antivirus companies themselves have been acquired and transitioned by third parties, and with the recent security data breaches happening this year of various companies, some being repeatedly, consumers must be very cautious when choosing and using any online services, at this point especially a VPN.

    Functionally, so far NordVPN seems to be a good one. In appearance, some features remind me a bit of Tunnel Bear and Norton, the VPN service is almost as fast as the normal connection without the VPN is, it’s fast when you are connected to the right servers, and the extra information to help people maintain a higher level of security and privacy they provide is spot on and very insightful.

    But given that, it should be noted they too have had a security breach which is widely known now, and sometimes the service acts a bit strange when using it, so it’s best to pay attention to that while using this or any other VPN service.

    As for the security itself, it does I believe offer what is qouted by the service for the most part.

    As for the price, I think it’s probably 2 or 3 times higher than it should be, but getting this subscription from BestBuy was the cheapest and most reasonable method I found.

    For what it does I’m happy with it, and it’s very easy to use and setup on a range of devices if you need too.

    I’ve had a few issues. Inability to connect to various web websites or portions of websites from android that I can from PC without issue. I reported those, and they seem to be fixed.

    After downloading and installing the NordVPN software, I lost my internet connection almost immediately. NordVPN Tech Support helped me get the configuration set up. It does cause a big slowdown in network speed – from 180 Mbps to 26 Mbps.

    I have only had this a few days now and I use it for the desktop, TV which I use Amazon Fire stick and if you stream your TV Channels as I do use Italy as it seems to work for this better than the others. It does slow you down some but not enough to make a difference as once you get the Nord VPN going from the beginning it gets better.

    I’ve been using Nord for about six months and have had continuous problems: the connection shuts down frequently and every time I try to reconnect, the password fails. For the first few months, the only way to get back in was to copy/paste the password but that all changed recently. Now I am forced to reinstall the app which comes with even more upset. When restarting, Chrome automatically opens to the Nord page and loses all my tabs. I do research so that is months of work to find all my history again. I have to bookmark 100 times a day. I can’t use it and they refuse to refund any of my subscription.

    It’s the vpn some youtubers that has sponsored videos advertise in their videos. Quite a lot of servers to choose from when you want to change your location to either encrypt your internet connection to not be followed or go around geolocked places on the internet.

    I purchased the Nord VPN from Best Buy as a one year trial. I have used Norton in the past and Norton VPN is included free with my yearly internet package. Even so I was not real happy with continual connections issues with the Norton so I went back and signed up for Nord VPN again. Quick to download Nord VPN and easy to turn on and off.

    This software slows the system down but for privacy VPN are required today. Nord has servers all over the world so if you travel with phones or laptops you can be protected. This is my Second venture in to a VPN when I was working for a multinational company and not in private life. The only thing about NORD that I have found a problem the people on the chat line seem not to understand questions.

    I have used several other VPNs and been disappointed by drastic decreases in speed, but in the two weeks I’ve been using Nord I haven’t had that happen. It sets up easily, connects quickly and I forget it’s even on. Great Security for a laptop on wifi.

    Found that this software is very popular and highly advertised, so it is one of the more expensive offerings, but it didn’t have some of the features that other VPN providers offered like being able to protect specific applications. I found that I had to turn off the VPN for the entire device in order to get specific applications to work like Best Buy and Amazon at times which is a hassle. They did seem to have quite a lot of options for servers compared to their competitors though which is nice.

    Disappointed NordVPN is NOT compatible with all versions of Windows 10. I tried installing the software every possible way known by tech support on both ends, Microsoft as well as customer service NordVPN. Yet nothing still the same end results crashing browser after browser and caused my HP win 10 to eventually crash altogether not once but twice. On the box it falsely states “extremely easy to use,” however that’s not true in the least bit.

    I’ve used NordVPN for 2+ years and it works great. I have it installed on a desktop as well as a mobile device. You can set it to automatically log into a specific location upon startup. It is very user-friendly. Occasionally, a website won’t work while logged into a VPN but that is very rare.

    Bandwidth does not drop very much for me when I am logged in. However, you can easily switch to a different server if you are having speed issues.

    Most importantly, NordVPN is one of the most secure VPNs currently on the market as they do not log user information. Many other VPN’s do keep logs and thus aren’t as private as NordVPN.

    Highly recommended!

    Glad I read the reviews offered by others. I have had one other VPN and while it worked ok, it just wasn’t right. After research, I decided to try NordVPN. What a great choice. The price was right and the different time lengths offered made it the right choice. Very easy to install on my laptop and TV. After tweaking the settings to what I wanted, the program just does it’s thing as advertised. Right now, I am fairly sure I will renew this program for and extended time.

    Blocked by way too many sites/apps. Pause feature is nice but if you have to use it at least several times a day then almost totally negated.

    A simple feature like auto-connect on MacBook was overly complicated (redirected twice then I had to sign in on my Apple ID EVERY time) and does not forebode well for a smooth technical experience going forward.

    Lastly, thought I had cancelled before the first month and was intending on doing the 30 day money back guarantee and informed them just a couple days afterward. Would not honor the 30 day money back (no biggie) but wouldn’t refund the even when I offered to pay prorated, and even sent me the terms and conditions in quotes in an email. Any company who can stand by their product refunds if you go just couple days over, in my experience.

    Express VPN is comparable in speeds and superior in every other respect (especially number of blocked sites/apps) so am going with them.

    Good program, just need to monitor it as its protection drops sometimes as it switches you to another area with you requesting it. It does pop a message up when this happens, but if your afk when it happens you may miss it. Also if you try to watch your streaming services with this on you can be charged with the password sharing fees as it will show out of area.
