Wanted a 9.2 eARC, but my significant other just wasn’t having any of that. So I bought the 7.2 instead. I really needed the eARC feature as I game on a PS5, and wanted to enjoy 4K120 with the best sound quality.
I knew I was getting 2 subs, but I wasn’t prepared for how much difference it made vs my previous bar with a single sub. With both subs working together, the bass on the 7.2 eARC is tangible and powerful. You can feel the bass! Rewatching 12 Strong was a treat – I could hear a 360 soundfield with ambient details I’ve never noticed before.
I’m sure no other soundbar can outperform the bass of the 7.2 or 9.2 eARC. Especially at its price point. Don’t sleep on this one!

Heard many good things about this not so well-known brand. Decided to make the jump after my brother who bought the 9.2 eARC kept bugging me to get one of my own. I got the 7.2 with the 8” subs instead since I have a smaller living room but still want the dual subs configuration.
Super glad to be an owner of this fabulous surround sound system. I could feel my seats vibrating during many scenes of Godzilla vs Kong, watching it with this system truly made me feel like I was in a theater. Why did I not get this earlier?! All my previous systems pales in comparison.
PURE BLISS listening to my favorite classic tunes of Bob Marley. The tiniest details of the different instruments, the highs, the lows, the words, can all be clearly heard. I love the remote too, everything can be tuned and the EQ buttons are super convenient.
Also, shoutout to the great service! I had some questions while setting it up with my LG OLED TV and blu-ray player and within minutes of speaking with a Nak ninja, I had the perfect setup. Cant wait to watch more content with it!

I am glad that I auditioned and evaluated almost all soundbars (and HTiBs) on the market beforehand; as it helped me understand my requirements clearly. This is my first ever soundbar purchase so initially I wasn’t even sure what all I need. But as I went through the competitor brands (that often have glaring reviews on the internet) I realized that most were either paid or simply not my use-case.
I have a fairly large living room and a 75-inch Sony TV. I was looking for a sound system that could replicate a theatrical experience and suffice my various needs viz. TV series off Netflix/Disney, Hulu etc. to movies to streaming music from phone. I wanted an immersive sound stage and be enveloped in lifelike sound throughout my room. But whichever brand I auditioned had something missing. Where one system would sound amazing for movies, it would lack in music; or vice versa. In rare cases where I found a brand/model that ticked all boxes, the bass would be sub-optimal. I even considered HTiBs but they did not have enough flexibility or ports to accommodate all my devices.
Enter Nakamichi Shockwafe. There was no way I could audition this since it is not available in my country of residence. So I went deeper into research, reading everything that I found, understanding all about Dolby and DTS formats, speaker placement, eARC et al. Kudos to Nakamichi for providing detailed guides, videos and articles that took a long while to digest but ultimately helped immensely. Initially I (and more than me, my wife) were skeptical in buying something without seeing or hearing it in flesh. But the feature set and all-positive owner experiences looked convincing and trustworthy. I did an A/B comparison of feature set and found Shockwafe trumping all boxes consistently. It is a future proof package that punches way above its weight (while delivering deep bass way below the competition!).
It has been over two months since my unit was delivered and I couldnt be happier. It looks beautiful and complements my room setup. It effotlessly handles EVERYTHING that I throw and leaves plenty of space to surprise me daily. I play at 50% volume and even then I find it loud and clear enough. Bass is truly the standout feature of this set. With the proper tracks and movies, you will actually feel the walls shaking and the floor rumbling. It is the kind of bass that growls in your stomach and puts you right in the middle of the action. I am really glad I chose the dual subwoofer model because it evens out the bass punch throughout the room. Even at higher volumes, the bass doesnt disperse and punches hard and strong. My entire listening experience is elevated to hitherto unknown realms. I do not feel the need to go to the cinema anymore.
I will gladly buy it again (although it will be the 9.2.4 model next time!) and recommend it without an iota of doubt to anyone considering.

I teetered between 4 and 5 stars on this. I am quite satisfied with the sound in the end. I was only slightly disappointed with the fact that there is no calibration for individual room dynamics, however, maybe that allows for an easier setup. Bass is outstanding.

Bought it for my living room 85″ TV and do not regret it! Sounds awesome and with Dolby movies and apps even better. You can fine tune audio and sub levels to your liking. There is also presets for large, mid and small rooms. Might upgrade to the 9.2.4 soon and put this one in my room.

Sound quality is great. 2 sub woofers are balancing the bass really good. Dolby atmos is good only if I place rear speakers correctly based on nakamichi instruction.
Lot of customization which helps to setup in a way I like. I would like auto calibration in-built so it will be easy for first customer.

This is an incredibly powerful system. I have the subwoofers spaced on opposites sides of the room roughly midway between the TV and the couch. And the couch literally rumbles under me during explosions and the like.
The sound bar itself has a volume of “70”. I tested it to that using the demo DVD that it comes with. For nearly all watching, it’s between 12-18. It gets painfully (in a literal sense) loud. All that, without distortion.

This is the best soundbar you should be getting if you are creating a personal home theater. The dual bass makes you feel like you are inside the experience. Everything is extremely simple to setup and the EARC built in makes connecting to your T.V. super simple. If you want to Feel what you are seeing, this is the system you need.

I wanted to love this system, but it never performed as well as I expected. Even going through the setup process several times I was never able to get the sound where I wanted it. The system is feature rich, but we encountered some crackling sounds and connectivity issues. I’m giving it 4 stars because I think the system is good, it just wasn’t right our TV (LG) and room configuration.

Far exceeded my expectations! This sound system has successfully PO’ed my fiancé, my pets, and my neighbors. (Even though I have a brick home, and the closest neighbor is .25 miles away.) The quality of sound is absolutely astounding! The highs and mids are crystal clear and unwavering. When the bass drops on anything over 40, it’s guaranteed to tickle your taint. Make sure your windows and elderly guests are secured firmly. Everything is very well constructed and solid.

Outstanding! Movie theater quality in your home. At 50 to 60% volume, it has all 3600 sq ft rumbling. Soundbars don’t sound like this. It puts out floor standing speaker sound, and the Dolby Atmos has sounds coming from everywhere in the room.
