    We needed a DVD player for our camper. The fist one we received wouldn’t even turn on. Returned to the store with no problem and they had another sent to home. Would purchase again.

    Do not know does work I spend 3 hour working on it on 2 different TV with 2 different internet and still doesn’t work.
    Maybe the geek team should test it a little more carefully.
    Now I have to waste 2 more hours to return it or pay for shipping.
    Oh yeah I ripe my new jeans trying to plug and unplug the unit 50 times that’s another $60 I lost some deal I got

    Since having an LG TV, though it would be great to have the LG blu-ray as well. When I sync my Harmony remote with my LG tv, LG blu-ray and different manufacturer for my sound bar, the volume doesn’t stay with the sound bar, want to go with the TV. Found that to be odd, and I don’t want to buy a new sound bar.

    I bought this model “open box”, so the price was good. I only play movie cd’s, I don’t have any blue ray disks. Have hade some issues with the unit responding to the remote, bot overall it works well.

    This blu-ray player shows clearly. The remote is extremely small & the preloaded icons such as Netflix are difficult to navigate. It constantly asks you to reconnect to the Internet which is irritating. As I stated in the title, it’s functional for what it’s worth. I probably wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.

    My old blue ray, same model, quit working. Tried tech support, nothing worked and out of warranty. Found this on BB refurb site fo $30. Works great and I have a spare remote and HDMI cable!

    This is my second player. First one, I kept losing my internet settings and I had to keep going back to reset it, which began to be a big pain. The second player is no better. In fact, it is going back to the store and I plan on exchanging it for a different name brand player. This one keeps freezing when I’m watching YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon.

    It did not have web browser just a few different apps you could download onto it. My biggest complaint is you have to make sure you are pointing the remote directly at the player for it to work.

    I buy a lot of refurbished products. Most times they work as designed. You always have to test out all features as one reason the product is sent back is that there is one function that doesn’t work and is not tested when it is returned. That said, so far this unit works well. I always stop a dvd part way thru and turn off the unit. This unit like others sometimes looses where it left off. So you have to mark down the elapsed time. Just make sure you run thru all the options before the warranttee runs out and some failures don’t occur immediately. For the price, it is a great player. I don’t need UHD, as I don’t have any UHD dvds so it’s not worth paying a premium for something I won’t use.

    Ordered this and was happy for the first month. After that, no app worked for more than five minutes and I either get a “critical error” message or a “Hulu Plus was unable to start. Please try again later. Sorry for the inconvenience.” Very frustrating to only be able to watch five minutes of a show.

    I love this DVD player. Blu ray and regular dvd’s are upscaled to 2160p. 4k discs look amazing. It’s quiet and loads quickly. I love the matte finish too. Streaming apps are somewhat meager but I don’t use this player for streaming. Picture quality is excellent.

    I purchased this in an effort to force my girlfriend into the modern era of home theater.

    Since she was skeptical of Blu Ray and still thinks VHS has some magic about them, I wasn’t going to go all out and get a top of the line model when a run-of-the-mill would do.

    Do my surprise the well-priced refurb worked very well without any complaints and even featured wireless networking capability for apps such as Netflix.

    It is old and a bit slow, but it meets the mark for an entry level device that can read Blu Ray discs.
