The first sound bar I got was open box excellent. Supposedly it was tested when I had finally got it shipped to my house turned on and plugged in the subwoofer would not turn on and connect to the sound bar so I have returned the product to the store and purchased a brand new one for only $85 more And got the extra warranty just in case if I have any issues over the next four years i am covered other than the first sound bar, not working, the sound bar sounds great has deep punchy bass would recommend for a apartment

It’s a very nice theater system but I don’t believe I got it on sale during black Friday.. they advertised it as 800$ or so marked down to 500$ and it’s quality is worth 500$ in my opinion. Music sounds better than movies do

My daughter and I literally walked around Best Buy for over an hour listening to every system they had on display. The representative was very helpful and patient answering all our questions and giving us input. I’m partial to Samsung, however the voices sounded a bit muffled and not very clear. We made our way to the LG section and listened to these and were blown away! This soundbar was on a Black Friday sale and compared to the equally priced systems sounded far superior with clear voices as well as better features with Dolby Atmos and Imax capability. I run my Xbox X directly into this sound bar and then into the Arc HDMI on the tv and now get all the benefits of Dolby Atmos. Games sound better and movies on HBO Max and Disney now come through with 4k and Dolby Atmos. I also purchased the rear surrounds to complete the surround experience and they seamlessly connected with no fuss. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Zero stars. Item was defective. Paid for installation. I had to remove the sound bar and return to store. Depside numerous calls to numerous call centers I have been unable to schedule an appointment to have a replacement installed. Finally I texted the tech that installed the sound bar and he scheduled an appointment but I have to wait two weeks. The appointment is Jan 3rd. I receive a text message from Best Buy on Dec 30 that it is canceled and I have to reschedule. Another nightmare begins. I miss Circuit City.

Overall excellent. If you can get it under $480 get it. Price match is your friend. Box is big and heavy – won’t fit in most cars.
Performance is excellent, especially using ARC and setting the theme to the content being shown (e.g. cinema, sports, etc) – I default to AI mode when not using the other two mentioned. There are several other to play with. You can’t fine tune it though – can’t create your own themes nor is there an equalizer or any other sound settings to tweak.

Realistically, this is probably a 4 because there are better systems out there, but I’ve turned it into a 5 with a couple of additions.
About a year ago I bought my 1st surround system, the ROKU system with 2 front speakers, 2 rear speakers, their Pro subwoofer and the Pro soundbar. Being my first system I was in awe. It was great. After a while I realized that it had severe drawbacks, mostly the lack of control and balance between speakers, the limited range of the EQ, etc. I realized it wasn’t the sound I was looking for. I sold it for half of what I paid.
I went to Best Buy for a better system. The salesman recommended this system as it was on sale for $300 off and my TV was LG as well. Installation was very easy and fast. I turned on my TV and within a minute I heard a major improvement over my old full blown ROKU system. I still wasn’t happy as this system doesn’t come with any rear speakers. I returned to Best Buy and purchased the matching set of rear speakers.
It was a great improvement, but it was lacking in bass from the rear. I then purchased a 2nd subwoofer to use with the rear speakers from an online vendor. The subwoofer is made by a company called Theater Solutions and the model is a SUB8SM. It’s a unique cab in that you can connect the high level speaker outputs from the wireless LG rear speakers to the SUB8SM and then the rear speakers connect to the high level output on the SUB. You can then set the gain and the frequency crossover for the sub and you’re done.
This system is crazy perfect for me now and the sound is all around me. Now it’s a 5.

Purchased an LG C3 TV which we love. Had a Vizio sound bar with Dolby Atmos. Was a very glitchy combination. Decided to try and LG soundbar in hopes of better integration. It’s amazing! Mainly use it for movies and gaming on the PS5. No glitching out. Amazing depth of sound. Can actually hear people talking clearly during dialogue scenes. I did pair it with the rear surround sound speaker system and it’s just perfect and easy. Would definitely buy again!

I have ran into an issue that certain streaming services don’t provide the full sound and capacity (HBO MAX) but on others (Amazon prime, Netflix, Hulu) the quality is there. Full and heavy sound.

We upgraded to this from the smaller model. Huge difference. It is possible to make this too loud & thats a really good thing. We also added the rear speakers & I recommend that. It pairs easily with sun & rear speakers & pairs quickly. It even can be controlled by tge tv remote. I have a Best Buy Fire TV.

Bought this speaker bar. About 35 days after purchase, so just after the Christmas return date, the Bluetooth connection began to drop about every 20 minutes. The only way to reconnect was to unplug the speaker bar and reconnect BT. Annoying as can be, and I’m out hundreds of buck. No more LG for me. But sound wise when it works, the speaker sounds good!!
