    This unit is simply epic and worth every penny I spent on it. I have it installed in my 40’ 2019 RV and it easily controls all three cameras providing a much better view of my toad and the area around the RV then the 7” stock unit that was terrible. I specifically choose this model over its JVC sibling because the Kenwood has a volume knob that’s easy to manipulate without taking my eyes off the road. The touchscreen is HUGE and very responsive. With Apple CarPlay I really feel like this unit is an extension of my iPhone and I don’t have to think about menus ect. If you want a 2year warranty and higher voltage pre-outs check out the 57XL version of this deck but they’re otherwise identical. I watched several very helpful videos on YouTube and was easily able to install this unit myself with no previous experience.

    Great unit only thing that I noticed is that when you’re using your Android phone through Bluetooth it drops a lot hopefully they can fix that with an update

    This unit is almost perfect but my big issue is that I can barely hear the person speaking when placing a call even after turning up the volume for the call. The unit was installed on my 2011 Toyota sienna that came with JBL but without the navigation. I also used the Maestro rr2 and Maestro TO1 harness.

    Really good quality radio. Easy to install and set up. The sound is very good. One thing I love is the wireless car play also the HDMI connection. I have added a fire stick and it is just great. I’m a very happy camper.

    Great product. I highly recommend measuring the space where the radio will go before purchasing since it may end up covering vents and such.

    I did have some issues with sound breaking up but that can happen when using wireless android auto in areas with a lot of signals.

    Technology is only as good as it’s reliability and usability. This unit isn’t only packed with features, it works! Reliable and seamless. Wireless Apple CarPlay works great and the screen size is just right. Fits perfect in the double din of my 04 Silverado. I went with this unit because I like the screen size, having a volume knob is nice, and it also has some “quick access” buttons at the bottom of the screen, not a fan of only all screen especially when you’re driving. Very happy with the purchase!

    Radio is okay it could be better is Best Buy geek squad could have installed it correctly. I went 3 times for my install and it’s still messed up. I hear a hissing noise constantly and my rear speakers do not work.

    I have the excelon model with navigation aswell nice but it loads up slow thjs model her is a few hundred dollars less and it loads faster due to no built in navigation the wireless carplay works like a charm on both units add the Maestro to get the ultimate experience this large unit is the Best ..

    Best 10″ radio out there. Wireless carplay, full sized hdmi in the rear (compared to others that have micro hdmi that breaks), excellent audio features. By far the best radio sold by to date. 10″ screen makes navigation through carplay a breeze, and I love the large volume knob and dedicated rear camera activation buttons. Screen is fully adjustable in/out and up/down to fit most vehicles. I could never go back to a standard 7″ display. Well worth the cost.

    It’s a pretty good stereo system with the cameras that I purchased. I has some flickering at the very top but I think it may be dimmer was turned on in settings. Once I turned that off I haven’t noticed it flickering at the top.

    It’s a nice size screen, I just wish the cameras that Kenwood offers dash cam and rear cam were of better quality and resolution.

    Definitely happy that I got this unit instead of one with only push buttons, the volume control knob in the center is a nice feature

    Bought open box item from bestbuy.comnthat was in excellent condition. However when went to install it, the mic was missing. My review is only reflective of the purchasing open box item. Also Geek squad installers said it wouldn’t fit in aftermarket dash kit. I put it together in my kitchen and it fit just fine. Beware of BestBuy Geek squad installers. Some are good some don’t know what they are doing or just plain lazy.

    Stereo works flawlessly with my 2017 Toyota Highlander w JBL system factory setting with the meastra , only issue is the birds eye camera and backup camera are a clear downgrade form my stock stereo. Way more blurry. Also when on Bluetooth/apple CarPlay calls you have to turn the volume ALL THE WAY UP to hear the person speaking.

    Fair warning to android auto wireless users!!! Google disabled auto android auto wireless start 2 years ago due to a driving mode bug and the way headunit manufacturers implemented auto start of android auto wirelessly. Other manufacturers updated their units to correct this bug and now auto start android auto for their users. Anyone who purchases a kenwood unit and wants to use android auto wireless will see the “standby” screen once their headunit finishes booting. IF you are driving you will need to then press the android auto button on the home screen of your headunit just to get it started. Otherwise your big pretty headunit will sit there with a giant “standby” logo on the screen.

    Wireless carplay is nice but the input will switch from an input like HD Radio to Carplay when you get a txt message and doesn’t switch back. Love the giant display but some of the graphics seem dated. The OBD screens are really out of date.

    As a person who works on the Best Buy auto tech bay I can say this radio is amazing the features are top notch for the class this radio is in. The other radios that are in the same class do not offer the same features and build quality that the 1037s provides. The 1037s supports up to 4 cameras and and 4 volt pre outs for any type of amp, the build quality is amazing and holds up very well to rough use. The technology they used for the screen makes glare an issue of the past the colors and precision of the screen makes using any form of maps very easy and detailed and the support of wireless android auto is an amazing secondary feature if you have the money it’s well worth the investment

    I am satisfied with this receiver so far but the only annoyance is that some of my HD radio stations are not displaying station and album arts that i’m so used to when my 7″ Pioneer AVH2550 Nex was installed. Other than that it’s good.

    This Digital Media Receiver is the BOMB! It’s display is bright but the screen can be shut off and it still plays & streams…handy controls and integrates with my Ridgeline’s current audio features. Apple Car Play automatically connects and now it displays my back-up camera view on my 10″ screen! I’d recommend adding an XM antenna as that’s an internal feature of this device.

    Great deal!!! I love this radio installed it on my 2015 Corolla looks amazing. I had to get it installed elsewhere because they didn’t have the bracket or harness. Greek squad free service is fake.

    Great device but I had to go somewhere else to buy it and have it installed. The Bestbuy audio tech said the headunit would not fit in my Mazda MX 5. He was wrong. Thanks to their competitor I now have a floating headunit in my car.

    No real complaints so far. Tons of tuning functionality built into this unit. Apple CarPlay has been working seamlessly. Screen resolution is great.

    The only thing close to a complaint that I’ve had is how easily the screen fingerprints. Reflections haven’t bothered me, but the glass fingerprints very easily and in my experience has been tough to wipe away without using glass cleaner on a microfiber towel. Bought a matte screen protector, and it resists fingerprints more. However, the protector does very slightly distort the image clarity of the screen. This type of thing is to be expected with any touchscreen device, so again, not exactly a fair complaint. Other than that, love the unit.

    This has been a really good replacement to my original OEM head unit. It gave me access to more cameras (better quality too) and a HDMI connection for more options for entertainment. The wireless Apple CarPlay is works really well also.

    instant better sound quality from my stock speakers and really not a bad install. touch screen is very responsive, and system is easy to set up. must have for gig drivers as the integration of the GPS system and the app work flawless.

    Bought this for full price. Its a nice screen and installation was easy but unfortunately I couldn’t install it for a few months during the covid scare.

    The radio started restarting itself non-stop soon after installation. I figured maybe I did something wrong so I paid an installer to check the install and everything looked good. Thats when I reached out to warranty. Had to mail in the radio, but they told me it arrived broken and I would have to pay almost full price to have it repaired. Whats worse, the only way to get it shipped back would be to pay them another fee.

    I lost 1500 bucks on this thing. If you buy this, make sure its installed and tested the same day and run it through its paces before the return window ends.

    I wouldn’t trust the warranty process for this manufacturer. Lesson learned.

    Got this unit for a crazy deal installed it in my tundra works great wireless android auto is nice bright crisp display tons of features and a big one for me is the volume knob install wasn’t to difficult with rr2 module steering wheel controls work and gauges are cool
