I just got these in today. The sound on them are great. If buying for console only would recommend buying lower end version of JBL gaming headsets. Its not that they are bad for console just noise cancellation, the lighting of headset and all other functions do not work on consoles. The sound on console is great though.

Excellent sound overall, even for music. Been told by others that “my” sound is great, so I think the microphone works great. The QuantumSPHERE 360 sound technology does not work awesome in all games, but does for most. Only giving 4 stars because the cord connected to the headset comes out way too easily. While working at a standing desk and going from sitting to standing, the “chat balance dial” weighs down the cord and it pops out of the headset. You have to scramble and get the cord back in if you are mid-game. Happens every day and its so frustrating!

Very comfortable, did pretty decent due diligence before committing to purchase, however it’s it true that not all functions are available on consoles such as light which have selectable color patterns (on pc) an equalizer with pre set adjustments and use of all QuantumENGINE sub sections head tracking and all that. Updated software on laptop first as well as calibration steps it was all fairly simple would highly recommended to any and all serious PC gamers the comfort is superior to the $150-$200 turtle beach’s and hyper xs in my opinion

The Quality and Calibration sound on pc is a Beast … for me the best Headset for PC much better tha astros A50 but much more better … JBL is amazing

Easily the best gaming headset I have ever had. JBL has seemingly gotten a bit cheap with building materials for speakers/loudspeakers but that doesnt seem to be true for this headset. Will update but I have a few months with it now and my gaming experience is 10x better.

I like these headphones for pc but for console they are not that good. Can only turn them up a little bit with the knob and that is it so it is very quiet.

Great headphones. Does exactly what I wanted to. The wire can be annoying sometimes but other then that the headphones are great with sound and the control has no issues. App works great and syncs good

To start off The mixer on it was definitely a nice feature but the weight of this headset is way too much after a few hours of use it gets be annoying. Mic quality sounds like it belongs in a cod lobby. Audio is over all not bad . The price of the hesdset is rediculious for what u get

Ear pieces are already tearing up. Have been super gentle with this pair since it costs so much yet get punished for it. Thick USB cord transfers any sound. For example, if it rubs against the table you hear it like the left earphone is playing scrubbing noises. Mixer is horrendous in terms of consistency. Everything is up to date in software yet the mixer sometimes acts as a volume slider OR works as it should as a chat mixer. Noise cancelling is subpar when compared to my friend’s SteelSeries. Overall, unsatisfied with quality of software and headset.
