Best wine fridge I could have bought. Wish I bought it a long time ago.

This is a very nice looking although it does not suit my needs and I am returning it.

I purchased this to use as a ‘cheese cave’ to ripen my home made cheeses, I thought the dual zone would be perfect – the top section to set between 50 – 54 for most of the cheeses and the bottom to ripen soft cheeses like Brie which requires a colder temperature to ripen.

When I received this, I was very excited – looked very nice – but then saw the top section temperature range the coldest was 55F. I thought okay, sometimes they run colder and maybe this would work. I was very unhappy to see that the top temperature held at 57.8F when set at 55F which is much too warm to ripen my cheeses.

Sadly I am returning this and purchasing a beverage cooler instead where the warmest is 50F — a little colder is better than warmer – colder means ripening will take a bit longer – warmer means cheese may spoil or over ripen.

I suggest to Best Buy / Hamilton beach that the temp ranges for each section be included in the listing.

I really wanted this to work and it would probably work fine for wines but not for ripening cheeses.

  3. Defective

Would not recommend this refrigerator. The screws for the handle were stripped and could not get it on. Although the package it was in looked fine there was a large dent. I had paid to have the old one removed and the new one brought in so instead of doing that again I’ll just live with the defects.

Ok folks, I’ve tried to purchase this wine fridge two times now. Both came in defective. First fridge you would plug in, no power. Second fridge plug in and flickering lights & can not reset or program. My husband is an electrician and he said both were defective. This will be the second time I am returning this fridge. Piece of crap! DO NOT waste your time or money to order this product.

Great cooler. Held all our bottles and love the dual zone

  6. ProIPadPro

The wine fridge has been able to accommodate the quantity it advertised. Easy to set up and program the two separate zones.
