We’ve only had it for less than a month, but so far, so great! It’s relatively quiet and the shelves and stuff are well-designed.
Favorite part: When you open the doors, the lights inside do a quick FADE UP instead of just coming on full. Classy!

I rarely right bad reviews but I feel compelled to warn everyone about what they could be getting themselves into if they purchase this.
After 10 years our LG french door refrigerator needed to be replaced due to compressor failure and it left us in a position of needing a replacement quickly. Our repairman said don’t buy LG or Samsung because the compressor replacement cost is so expensive. Unfortunately idk if it is due to covid or what but most refrigerators were on backorder. We came across this one for a decent price and it fit where we needed it to fit so we decided to go for it. Big mistake….this refrigerator is so noisy! In the 10 years we owned our LG I never heard it make a noise EVER. This GE refrigerator is constantly make some sort of noise. It is very loud when it makes ice and drops ice into the bin. It is loud when the compressor is running and it makes a variety of other noises from a spooky moaning and groaning sound to a woodpecker stuck inside the fridge sound. Now that we got the obnoxious noises out of the way….lets move on to the poor construction quality. Every drawer inside the fridge is clunky and difficult to slide in and out. There is no smoothness whatsoever. The freezer door is clunky and awkward to open and close as well. The left fridge door squeaks when you open it because the door “flapper” rubs slightly on the right door. I have to doors adjusted and as straight as they could possibly be so idk what the problem is but I finally got it to quite down by putting a bit of silicone on the right door where the flapper rubs against it. The water dispenser is in a strange location inside the fridge so you have to open the doors in order to get water….seems very inefficient to me. The only thing I really like about it is the lighting, it is very nice and bright inside.
My old LG was like a Cadillac…it was pretty and ran smoothly like a fine tuned machine…until it didn’t. It was an expensive investment for only 10 years of use but it sure was nice while it lasted. This GE is like a noisy 30 year old clunker that I am not sure if I should hope I get my moneys worth out of it or not because I don’t know if I can handle 10 years or more of moaning and groaning coming from my kitchen,

The new refrigerator is nice looking. Lots of room. The interior is light & bright. It is fairly quiet when the compressor is running. Overall it is a nice product,but after owning refrigerators for over 40 years with a bottom freezer door ,I can say that the door option was much nicer than the bottom freezer drawer. The ice maker took up less room and things were easier to find. Also, the vegetable drawers should be deeper. They were over 2 inches deeper in our old Kenmore! I’m not sure how I like the configuration of the door bins, but I am geting used to it.

Fridge is quiet and spacious. We needed a fridge that was 35”wide or less. This unit is 32 1/2” wide and looks great. Only regret is that it is not smudge proof so fingerprints really show up.

Great fridge, small form factor but surprisingly big inside. Bought it open box, beware of your Best Buy’s loading skills. Mine loaded the fridge on its back, sliding it into the bed of my truck. Had to slide it out and caused damage to my truck from the metal on the back of the fridge.

This was item was available at the store and I asked a lot of questions about size but there was a 3 week wait to actually deliver. And when they got there it fit the space but could not make it through the door into the kitchen. No one mentioned that I might need to get a counter depth.

I cannot stress this enough: NEVER EVER EVER buy a GE Appliance, if you value your money, time and psychological well being. This company is dedicated to making every interaction miserable, and every customer service touchpoint into a joke. They are fine if they work, but the moment you run into an issue – it’s time to run for the hills.
Generally, American appliance companies (and I know GE is owned by Chinese conglomerate Haier) never make the best products, but at least were able to back them up with superior support.
In this case it’s painfully obvious that you should avoid this and all other GE products at all costs. The company is, for lack of a better word, a parasite.

Great fridge space. The idea of the water spout inside to save space is great. Execution not so much. The button must be pushed hard and steady and is a little short. You have to put your cup pretty close to the sides to fill it up. Decent freezer space

Our Best Buy purchase was a great deal! The delivery guys and installers were friendly and explained things about our new refrigerator. The only problem we have had is the ice maker is not making ice. GE is sending out a repairman to look at it.

Just got it installed today by a couple of Geek Squad guys. They were courteous and careful. Just one observation so far: The extra MWX filter I ordered obviously will not work in the refrigerator that I received. Checking further, I noticed that the refrigerator’s model number has two more letters than the one that I ordered and requires either a MWFP or XWFE filter. Otherwise, I see nothing else different. I set it out far enough so that the right door stop prevents the door from hitting the wall corner.

Fridge is a fridge. Spacious and works properly. I feel like the water dispenser takes a little muscle for my kids to use and their preteens. Ice maker works fine. Space and shelves are good as well. It’s 33 inches wide but so is the space for my fridge. So the left door is witching the wall. When opening it it was hitting the wall. Not the fridges fault, probably who ever cut the space for the fridge but just keep that in mind if you’re set up is the same as mine.

Loving our new GE French Door Refrigerator. It’s a perfect counter length that looks very sharp. The water dispenser is tucked away inside leaving a spotless clean look on the front of the doors. The freezer is a nice size with an ice maker that fairly quiet. LOVE IT!!

I love this refrigerator the space in the freezer is just amazing. The overall space is just great you can put a lot of stuff in it and it’s really nicely separated the drawers and everything is really nice. And it fit right in where the old one was didn’t take up any extra space

After 3 years the freezer is not cold enough. Coils are clean. Our local appliance repair companies don’t service GE because they can’t get parts. Now what to do with this $1700 lemon?
