This machine is so quiet that I sometimes forget it’s running. This is such a huge upgrade from the Samsung I used to own. It washes dishes well, too. My only criticism is the lowest basket could be better designed.

This product popped up when I was reviewing a product I hated. I don’t even remember when I bought this dishwasher but I know it’s been years. I would guess at least 4 or 5 years ago. It works perfect. Very quiet, cleans well. No problems at all. If it ever breaks, I’ll buy the same thing if possible.

My last Bosch 300 series lasted over 10 years and I didn’t hesitate to buy another this year – these dishwashers are very durable, reliable and do a great of job cleaning pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. The interior design is great and I love the slide-out utensil tray at the top.

This is my second Bosch dishwasher (had one in previous home) and I love that I can truly just scrape the dishes before putting them in and they come out clean. The 3rd rack and adjustable top rack are incredibly helpful and space saving. This model is Consumer Reports top rated and absolutely deserves it. I will never buy anything but Bosch dishwashers in the future.

I originally looked at this brand because of their reputation for being quiet (it is!). The capacity (compared to my ancient dishwasher) is huge. I’m also pleased with how the machine washes and dries (you do absolutely need to use the rinse agent, though). The lack of a heating element makes it easy to wash large plastic items in the bottom rack and the ability to put away clean dishes without having to wait forever for them to cool off so they can be handled.

Overall, this has been a decent dishwasher so far for the few months that we’ve had it. I would recommend it if you can get it on sale, but I would not recommend it for full price.
Pros: easy to install, cleans and sanitizes dishes well (the most important thing!), very quiet, very easy to use, has a third rack at the top, reasonably priced since we got it on sale
Cons: does not dry dishes at all, even when using rinse aid and the “Extra Dry” setting, our previous Bosch dishwasher had all metal fittings, but this one has some plastic fittings and attachments which has me concerned about the long-term durability, it was missing multiple parts that the installation instructions said would be included and that we had to go out and buy, there is not much space between the bottom rack and the spray arm or between the middle rack and the top rack, which makes it difficult to fit even normal sized plates on the bottom rack or larger glasses on the middle rack

Earlier this year, we replaced our 13 year old whirlpool dishwasher with a LG. The LG developed a leak and the cost to fix it, was more than we paid for it. Then we began our exploration of who makes the best dishwasher. We checked the internet and Consumer Reports, and Bosch topped the list, and especially this model. We bought it, and paid for the extended warranty (just because), and I couldn’t be more thankful for this dishwasher. I thought the LG was quiet (compared to our 13 year old Whirlpool), but this blows that out of the water. So my advice, do your research, and buy the best out there, it is going to save you money in the long run.

This is hands down the best dishwasher I have ever owned, and it is not the most expensive one I have owned by a long shot. It was written up in a New York Times comparison and was highly recommended, even over more expensive made by Bosch. It’s the first dishwasher in over 40 years that I have owned in which I don’t have to ‘preclean’ the dishes. Of course I get rid of chunks, but anything stuck to the plate goes in the dishwasher as is, and comes out sparkling clean. I use Finish, the recommened detergent.

This has turned out to be a fantastic dishwasher at a great price. Delivery and installation were literally the next day. The product works great. I even purchased the 5-year warranty which was terrific. The installer/driver was the best I’ve ever seen. In comparing this experience with Home Depot? I’ll never buy another appliance from them again. I’m so glad I decided to go to Best Buy!!!

THIS PRODUCT IS GOOD SO FAR, BUT AFTER ABOUT A YEAR IS STARTING TO BREAK DOWN A LITTLE. The clips on the dishracks that make some parts of the rack movable to allow for different sizes of items to be washed and alternative loading patterns are breaking down and do not hold the racks in position properly any longer. We have to hold the movable parts of the racks in place with elastic bands from broccoli bunches etc.
Minor defects are that the utensils basket has fairly large holes in the bottom. It’s okay for western knives and forks, but each load my wife, who is Korean, has to wash lots of thin steel Korean chopsticks which slip right through the holes at the bottom of the utensil basket. We had to substitute a plastic pencil holder or some such with smaller holes to be able to machine wash the chopsticks.
Other than this, the machine is extremely quiet, and seems to wash the dishes well on 60 minute “Quickwash” as well as the longer regular wash. It is only about a year old, but so far we’d buy it again, but wish the rack clips were more reliable, and that the utensil basket had offered an optional-to-use insert with smaller holes for chopsticks.
The reason I am giving it four instead of five stars is that I have a concern, based largely on the trouble with the rack clips, that it may break down and have to be replaced fairly quickly, which leads to a certain constant anxiety about the appliance which is unpleasant. If it doesn’t degrade further, then is is four and a half or even five stars in terms of satisfaction, but the anxiety detracts from being able to fully relax and so to speak, forget about it which would be the ideal.

The noise level is really low.
It cleans up the dishes well, but lately we’ve noticed the quality has degraded – we have to run the cycle twice.
When I got this item, it’s front panel was Broken front panel with a minor crack. It was a small one that I didn’t bother returning. Now it’s growing and has become a big crack. I don’t know what to do. Can someone from Bosch team reading this review help me?
