    Laptop didn’t like the Eero Pro 6e router which kept connecting/disconnecting the connection. Bought this little lifesaver and works like a charm with no issues.

    The drivers DON’T work, leaving the product completely unusable … couldn’t even get drivers from a third party site
    Don’t waste your time, $, or gas doing a return like I did
    I got a AC1900 Nighthawk instead and had NO issues so I know my PC wasn’t the problem (as ASUS seems to be trying to gaslight ppl into believing, terrible support)

    I just wasted two (2) hours of my time, because your guys working in the Geek Squad, and in the Computer Sales departments don’t knows what they are doing. I had to take the item back because it would not work with my Dell Computer.

    Don’t waste your money. I’m very disappointed with Best Buy . We’re almost in 2023, and they’re still selling WiFi 5 adapters and this crappy WiFi 6 joke of an adapter. WiFi is going to end up like Circuit City at this rate.

    My wife’s Lenovo laptop was having a hard time staying connected to my ASUS RT-AX58U AX3000 WIFI 6 AiMesh network. Wow, that’s a mouthful. I decided to give this adapter a try.

    I downloaded the driver from ASUS website 1st. Plugged in the adapter. Installed driver. Gave it a test. Speed wasn’t the best. I then disabled the built in WiFi adapter that came with the laptop and saw much better speed.

    It is a little pricy at $50, but I’m happy with the results.

    I should have read the reviews on this one. It’s about half as fast as my Netgear WNDA1400 adapter which was N.
    My router is AC but I had planned to upgrade it to WIFI 6e. However, I only got download speeds at 82MBPS. With the old Netgear it was 169.

    Works great on my kids desktop. I do wish the device included the drivers on the usb dongle instead of a cd. I had to use a computer that was online to download and installed on the system.

    I did not know this was a shortcut fix for my Wi-Fi issue. I bought it, and voila, my laptop’s Wi-Fi issue was fixed. Continues to work. Love it.

    Overall, the connection works really well. I was able to get my older deskptop to connect to the wifi at home. Connection is really stable and I have absolutely would reccomend this for anyone!

    This wifi replacement card doesn’t always work and seems to get interference from the original wifi card inside the laptop which was supposed to have been shutdown by the geek squad, going back to the squad to seek a solution as a paid member of TotalTech they need to make this right or allow me a credit towards new laptop which is less than a year old!

    Works great. Stable connection and great speed consistency. Size is a big plus. I’ve used other adapters that had a larger profile, and they ended up breaking, when adjusting my pc, because of their inconvenient size. This does the trick.

    This Wi-Fi adapter is good, gets a good signal and is pretty reliable. Only drawback is that you need a CD driver to load the drivers. It’s not plug and play. I had to go onto another laptop to get the drivers off the cd. I put it on a thumb drive and was able to put it on the laptop that had the issue with the original network card. Once it loaded it worked excellent.

    My OS is Windows 10 X64 Home. I downloaded the Windows 10 driver and it would not install. Got the message “We do not support this operating system.” Decided to give the Windows 11 driver a try and it installed properly.

    My previous adapter was AC1300 and my Wi-Fi speed was around 860mbps on a 5Ghz Wi-Fi network. Installed this adapter and speed jumped up to 1200mbps on 5Ghz.

    Web pages seemed quicker.

    Awful. I have a 3 year old laptop that i was trying to upgrade to Wifi 6. Every other device that i have can get approx 500mbps download speeds via ax. I can even get 60mbps download on this. Even if i put the laptop next to my router it just doesn’t work. No way they can claim this is wireless ax. I should have paid attention to all the disclaimers on the asus website before i bought this. It’s not my wifi or my computer. Its this piece of garbage. I wish i still had the box so i could return this and buy something else. Pictures speak for themselves.

    Nowhere near the speeds it should be.

    I was having some issues with my built-in WiFi, but none with a TPLink AC1300 (Archer T3U) adapter. I thought this would be a good upgrade for me. I have enterprise-grade WiFi APs from Ubiquiti. I’d read that some people said this one wasn’t performing as it should, but I thought it might just be operator error or a couple bad ones.
    Unfortunately, after installing, I too had these woes. My download speed ranges from 100-150mbps with this adapter on gigabit internet while my upload speed ranges between 8-55mbps. When I switched back to the TPLink, I went to ~200d/260u. I also noticed that this device was quite warm to the touch, unlike all the other USB adapters I’ve tried. I suspect that it may be overheating, which at least partially causes the issues.

    Absolute trash. Did not work. Tried multiple different computers, downloaded software, did all I could.

    An absolute trash product. You truly do get what you pay for. Believe the reviews when they complain of a product defect for this product. Attempting to download my games library via wifi led to my connection being dropped repeatedly on a gigabit connection withXfinity. Clearly the product cannot provide reasonable or stable speeds. I suspect it is overheating during the process and causing it to disconnect from the network. Avoid at all costs, find any other competitor and use their product instead. You will thank yourself later.

    I’ve bought this adapter multiple times. (it keeps getting left at sites or with customers). I’ve never had any problems with it. Excellent connectivity and speeds.
